Good morning. I apologize for how your visit went with us. We follow the GM guidelines for diagnosing oil consumption and the first step in that process is for us to perform a fresh oil change, so we know for sure the starting level of oil in the vehicle is correct. We then ask you to return every 2,000 miles so we can measure the amount of oil that has been used. I apologize this wasn't explained correctly on the initial phone call and at check in. I am so sorry the protective paper and plastic was accidentally left in your vehicle. We put that down to protect your interior and we throw that away at pickup. I apologize it was left behind.
