The work to add these items was excellent and the car was cleaned very well before leaving. Relative to price, the dealership honored the appraisal that I received from CarMax in Laurel for my trade-in, a 2002 Toyota Corolla. The manager considered offering me more for the trade-in, but in the final analysis did not. He also made a mistake in the math that I found when the sales price was first offered to me by failing to subtract the trade-in allowance. It is difficult to know for certain what one should pay for a car with less mark-up, but I believe that the final number could have been a few hundred dollars less. The financial representative was very knowledgable and efficient and, furthermore, did not pressure me to purchase other packages that I did not want. When we walked in the door we were pleasantly greeted by Dwayne Smallwood who could not have done a better job. After telling him what I wanted [including color], I was able to test drive a silver GLS. I loved the car, but it had some options I didn't need and wasn't my color of choice. By the time we returned from the test drive Dwayne had located a red car with fewer options-perfect!! He was so patient, pleasant, and friendly that my car buying experience was much less stressfull than some I've had in the past.
