On Thursday, November 6, 2025, I drove from Pittsburgh PA to Pasadena Maryland to pick up my dream car. Not only did ants were in Volkswagen have the best deal. Trevor and staff were just amazing hands-down to Pasadena Maryland to pick up my dream car. Not only did ants were in Volkswagen have the best deal. Trevor and staff were just amazing hands-down even with it being out of town. This was the best car buying experience I’ve ever had I drove a total of 10 hours and every second was worth it. I loved the service. I loved the road trip and I love my car I especially loved the price. I’m 46 years old. This was a once in a lifetime event. I have been living in lala land driving around in my new suv for the past two weeks and it is all thanks to Billy! I went to the dealership wanting to test drive the car with hopes of one day buying it, not suv for the past two weeks and it is all thanks to Billy! I went to the dealership wanting to test drive the car with hopes of one day buying it, not thinking I would actually be able to walk away with my dream car that same day! Bill listened to what I wanted and made sure I was able to leave satisfied. He knew I really wanted the car and was determined I left in it, was not pushy at all which some salesman are and I am truly grateful for that. Still waiting on my tags but I know Billy will be sure to let me know as soon as they come in. While i’m keeping my car forever lol I will be sure to tell everyone I know to stop by and see Billy if they are looking for a new car. Following is the email I wrote to Mike Williams on 10/24/25 and I still have not received a response. Please note that the car I purchased at full price did not include floor mats and I was not infor 10/24/25 and I still have not received a response. Please note that the car I purchased at full price did not include floor mats and I was not informed (I thought they were in the trunk of the vehicle): I received a letter in the mail this week that my tags were ready for pick-up in Pasadena for my 2019 VW Atlas. I reached out to my sales representative, Sam, requesting that my new tags and floor mats for my car be shipped to me via FedEx, as I do not live locally. He pushed back and said that that would not be possible; that I had to come in person to pick up the tags. I told him that I would be happy to send over a copy of my license to the team for whatever verification purposes they needed and if he could please send me my items, that would be greatly appreciated. Again, he came back to me with your location's hours of operation so I could pick them up. I then followed up with him again and asked what it would cost if I were to pay the shipping fee to have the plates and mats FedEx'd to me, and he informed me the fee was over $70 due to the weight of the mats. I have to admit that I am completely shocked by this complete lack of customer service. I live over 100 miles away round trip, am currently unemployed, purchased a car from your dealership at full asking price, used your financing program (that I know you get a kick-back on), and left you a 5-star Google Review (which I have since removed), and you want me to pay the $70 to have my items shipped. Not exactly the level of customer service I would've expected from your dealership. I've been holding back on saying anything for the past month, but since this tag/mat situation is now the icing on the cake, I will let you know that the sales process left me feeling unappreciated as a customer at Antwerpen. The day I came in to purchase the vehicle, Sam was friendly and warm, took me on a test drive, answered the questions I had, and then as soon as he knew I would be purchasing the car that day, I immediately turned into a number in line. The transaction turned cold. I moved from Sam's office to the Finance guy's office, then was asked to wait while Sam sold another car to another customer. He informed me he had 6 appointments that day, which showed me that he was too busy to spend any serious amount of time with me and that he would possibly be making 6 sales that day. When it came time to leave, he did help me connect my phone in my car, but then that was it. I went from a 2013 VW GTi to a 2019 Atlas. The technology was completely different and I had no idea where stuff was. I couldn't even find the navigation system to get myself home because I had no idea where I was. I ended up having to look at my phone the entire ride home, following Google Maps. It was a flipping fiasco!! Not to mention dangerous, as I tried to navigate a new, much larger vehicle in an unfamiliar part of the state. Aside from the mats not being included in the car (who sells a car with no floor mats in it?!!!), when I took that vehicle to my mechanic to be checked over, we found that the coolant level was below the minimum level, and so I had to pay to have that refilled. Mike, I would like to wrap up this whole purchasing situation with your dealership and request that you recognize my position and please ship me my mats and tags at the dealership's expense. A little empathy would go a very long way with me and deter me from leaving your dealership a 1-star Google review. I don't feel like I'm asking a lot and I'm not trying to get Sam in any trouble. I'm simply asking for a little customer service when the cost of living is through the roof, and as mentioned, I am out of work. I greatly appreciate your time and consideration, and look forward to your prompt response. More
