Crooks!!! DO NOT SHOP HERE!! Liars and thieves! After telling them numerous times that I didn’t need any extras or add ons besides gap insurance, they slipped two service policies Liars and thieves! After telling them numerous times that I didn’t need any extras or add ons besides gap insurance, they slipped two service policies in totaling over $3500! Knowing xxxx well that i would say something, they had my wife sign them while i was taking care of our two year old son. After confronting them about it they lied to me again saying that those service policies were necessary to get financing (even though it says on the paperwork in bold letters that they are not) and every other sheet of paperwork was signed twice, by me and my wife...yet these were only signed by her. My wife is not very knowledgeable about cars and they told her that I wanted these policies. Thankfully i went back over the paperwork when i got home. But i had to contact VW of America to get them to actually refund the policies, and then they jerked me around making me wait and receive a credit on my account rather than giving me back the money I put down. To make matters worse, the car I test drove and the one they gave me were different (because they could give me a better deal on the different trim) and the car they sold me had clunky from suspension due to faulty struts, so I immediately had mechanical issues on my brand new car. It also had an intermittently working gas gauge thanks to a bad sending unit (only worked about 50 % of the time) and needed a new infotainment unit because it would repeatedly shut off while driving or stay on after the car was turned off. They were totally unapologetic about the whole ordeal. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! I ended up going to the Annapolis VW dealer to get the car fixed and they were professional and courteous when I explained my situation. More
