2013 Ford Fusion from Apple Valley Ford Lincoln I purchased my 2013 Ford Fusion from Nader Vaseei at Apple Valley Ford Lincoln and could not have been more pleased with the buying experience. As a f I purchased my 2013 Ford Fusion from Nader Vaseei at Apple Valley Ford Lincoln and could not have been more pleased with the buying experience. As a first time car buyer, I was a little overwhelmed by all the options when researching on my own. However, after one visit to Apple Valley Ford Lincoln test driving several cars with Nader I felt I had a great grasp of the different options that were out there and ultimately settled on a car that was perfect for me. Throughout the whole process Nader was extremely helpful and kind giving me the information I needed while not pressuring me in any way, shape, or form. I felt completely comfortable working with Nader and could not be more happy with my purchase. In the end, I got the perfect car for me at a great price and Nader was a big reason for that. Everyone that I came in contact with at Apple Valley Ford Lincoln was kind and helpful and I will definitely be recommending the dealership to my family and friends! More
A nightmare handled poorly by management, service dept great On May 9, 2014, My wife and I went to Apple Valley Ford in Apple Valley Minnesota and bought a Certified Pre-Owned 2012 Ford Fusion SE 2.5L I4. Bob Av On May 9, 2014, My wife and I went to Apple Valley Ford in Apple Valley Minnesota and bought a Certified Pre-Owned 2012 Ford Fusion SE 2.5L I4. Bob Avery was the salesman. Bob was awesome. No pressure, easy-going, easy to work with. On July 18, 2014, I attempted to change the oil and drove it up on ramps. After 10 minutes on the ramps I noticed a 10” diameter puddle of transmission fluid. I did not change the oil at this time. I called Apple Ford and brought it in to have it looked at. They had it for 4 days. They diagnosed front driver axle seal leak. One month later, on August 20, 2014, I attempted a second time to change the oil. Again, I had it on the ramps for about 10 minutes. Same problem, same size transmission fluid puddle. I called Apple Ford the they scheduled it to be looked at on Tuesday August 26, 2014 and that it would be fine to drive until the appointment. They had our car until Friday August 29, 2014. Again, they diagnosed the same front driver axle seal leak. On Tuesday September 9, 2014 my wife and I met with the General Manager Ryan Huffman and voiced our concerns and frustration about the car. Ryan listened and told us that regardless of the problem that Apple Ford would take care of us so we wouldn't be $6,000 upside down on our car. We felt better after talking to Ryan. My wife and I left with lingering feelings that we should go home and put it up on the ramps. Again, 10 minutes later same puddle of transmission fluid on the same side of car. I sent Ryan and email with pictures of the problem. His reply: "Hi -Thanks for the email. We're sorry this is happening again. Let's trade you out of it and get you in something more reliable. Mr. Buro will call you tomorrow, Thanks, Ryan" I called Apple Ford and scheduled an appointment for Thursday September 11, 2014. On September 11, 2014, my wife brought the car in and wanted to talk to Ryan about our options referring to his email. Ryan was busy with another customer. John Callahan was available to help. John asked my wife about her background (where she was from where her father was from, etc - this was unnecessary). He was a fast talker with his questions but didn't seem to care about the answer she'd give. He asked her questions like "Why don't you just get the car fixed again and why do you want to get rid of the car?" He had already heard the story. Why ask these questions? Especially if Ryan Huffman's intentions were to trade us out of this nightmare. My wife explained what the service adviser Chad O'Bert (who had been very professional and accommodating with each of the repair date) had told us related to the problem. John Callahan said "Lets go talk to Chad." My wife, uncomfortable at this point, followed John to the service department and found Chad. John asked Chad if he'd remembered my wife and our problem with our car. Chad looked shocked, if not embarrassed by John's demeanor as if Chad is going to remember us by face with all the people he sees on a daily basis. This interaction with John, Chad and my wife was so uncalled for and inappropriate. We were appalled by how this situation was handled. My wife spent 2 hours at the dealership that day to reach some sort of relief of our experience but left very upset and let down by Apple Valley Ford. They had our car until Friday September 19, 2014. They said that the axle seal had leaked but they also had to take out the whole transmission as there was a seal leak around the casing or pan of the transmission. Another thing that was never mentioned to us was that our car was in an accident where it had to be towed from the scene. I'm not in the car-selling business but I don't know how you can take in a car with a history like that and call it a Certified Pre-Owned. Since we've had the car, I’d noticed “slipping” and “hesitation” with the transmission. We all have busy lives. I’m a critical care nurse and my wife is a nurse as well. Like a mechanic, if you see me it’s not a good thing. I don’t want to see my mechanic on a monthly basis (especially for the same problem) and he/she should never have to see me. Bringing a car in to have it looked at/repaired is a major inconvenience to anyone. Bob Avery was awesome and easy to work with. Chad O'Bert was professional and courteous. Ryan Huffman was understanding and really seemed to genuinely care. John Callahan should not be in the business where he's allowed to talk to people, he's condescending and overall a bully. John Callahan is the typical fast-talking used car salesman that people dread dealing with but fits the bill of a "Used Car Salesman." I wish Ryan would have intervened sooner with our situation before it had gone too far. Bottom line: I would NEVER recommend Apple Valley Ford Lincoln to ANYONE. I will NEVER step foot into Apple Valley Ford again. More

I have always purchased foreign cars (honda and toyota) and would have steered them in that direction. However, my partner, a loyal A.V. Ford shopper, recently bought a used truck from salesperson, Matt Luken. I was SO impressed with Matt that I sent him an email asking what he could do for my folks. They are 76 years old and had never owned a brand new vehicle. Ever. So after some correspondence with Matt, I brought my mom and dad to A.V. Ford and left with a brand new Ford Focus! Matt was absolutely exceptional... he knew my parents names when they walked in, he was patient with their many questions, and he genuinely cared about them. I wouldn't have looked at a Ford if it weren't for Matt Luken. When it's my turn for a new car... here I come, Matt. More
NEW FORD F150 BABY! After a very disappointing experience in their service center about a year ago, Cole from their service department restored faith into me and my wife. After a very disappointing experience in their service center about a year ago, Cole from their service department restored faith into me and my wife. So, when I was looking around to purchase a new Truck, I figured I would cruise into the dealership and see if any of their was anyone that would be willing to work with us. To my surprise, Joe Murphy was immediately willing to take the time to answer a couple of critical questions. However, what made me shocked was Joe's ability to calmly listen to my questions and then recommend a solution and a truck that met my family's unique needs. WOW! He really cared about us as people! I just want to say, "Thank you, Cole! And Thank you Joe!" you two are amazing people. I look forward to picking up the Ford Atlas next! Sincerely, Cole W. More
