Poor communication and service. I was very disappointed with service appointment and nothing was done or explained with their supposed “multi-factored” inspection. We picked the car I was very disappointed with service appointment and nothing was done or explained with their supposed “multi-factored” inspection. We picked the car up well before closing but no rep or tech met with us to go over any of the work. A cashier checked us out and they said they didn’t have that information. The service receipt simply said oil change and a “multifactored inspection.” The old service sticker was apparently too tough for your techs to remove so it was left there half scraped off and the new one stuck next to it obscuring visibility. If your service department doesn’t have some sort of solvent or know how to remove their old sticker, what else can’t they do? There was no word on the brakes which were previously marked in the yellow range. The new sticker said green. I guess they regenerated themselves. It really didn't look like anyone had been in the car to check things--usually after service I know because the headlights are turned off (as opposed to being on auto) and my seat settings which are very tight to the steering wheel because I'm short, were not touched. Maybe someone wedged themselves in there like a yogi and did check everything, but since no one could explain the magic multi-point inspection, we will never know. I'll just conclude to say that if I wanted the bare minimum and questionable expertise, I could have pulled into a Jiffy Lube and saved myself a lot of time and money. But for right now, we will be looking for another Ford dealer to get our Expedition serviced and kept in top shape in the future. More
