I purchased a Ford Blue Certified used truck from Apple Ford on May 29, 2026, and the experience has been extremely disappointing. My salesperson knew we were driving over two hours to pick up the truck Ford on May 29, 2026, and the experience has been extremely disappointing. My salesperson knew we were driving over two hours to pick up the truck and I confirmed two days in advance that we would be there Friday. The purchase still took over three hours, even though I did not need financing. The paperwork was not ready, and I later discovered conflicting sale dates on the documents, along with important missing forms that had never been signed by us. The truck was also not properly detailed. The passenger-side headliner was visibly filthy. We pointed it out when we arrived, and it received a quick wipe-down. The truck still appeared to have received little more than a quick wash and tire shine. There were also visible scratches that I was told could be buffed out. According to Ford Motor Company, deep scratches are supposed to be corrected before a vehicle is certified. Within 30 days, the passenger-side mirror and trailer wiring harness failed. I dropped the truck off at Ace Ford on June 25. While it was there, I asked them to check a clanking noise from the front end. They diagnosed a bad tie rod. The repair was not covered under the warranty and was estimated at over $600. I paid a $107 deductible for the mirror and trailer wiring repairs. It took a full week of emails, texts, and calls to get Apple Ford to agree to repair the tie rod. I was also told, "Do you really want to drive over two hours to save $100?" That completely missed the point. I purchased a Ford Blue Certified truck and expected it to be properly inspected. I dropped the truck off at Apple Ford on July 2 and picked it up on July 12. The tie rod was repaired, but the paint repairs were not completed, even though the scratches had been marked for repair by the service manager with tape. The truck was not detailed (even the dirt that was pointed out to them at drop off remained) and the seats and interior were not shampooed as requested. I was without my truck for 18 days before making my first payment. On July 13, the driver's-side mirror motor failed, requiring another $107 repair. I also waited at home on July 14 for tags Apple Ford said would be delivered with a signature required. No one showed up, and I still do not have my tags. I emailed management on July 13 to voice my concerns. The only response I received was from Curtis Ford in service asking how his department did. I like the truck itself. My issue is the repeated lack of attention to detail, poor communication, and lack of follow-through. I expected far more from a Ford Blue Certified vehicle and from the dealership that sold it. More

Buyer Beware – Apple Ford in Columbia, Maryland is Dishonest and Unethical I saved for years to purchase my dream car – a 2022 Toyota 4Runner. I found one at Apple Ford listed as a Certified Pre-Ow Dishonest and Unethical I saved for years to purchase my dream car – a 2022 Toyota 4Runner. I found one at Apple Ford listed as a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle with a clean Carfax, exactly the kind of purchase I wanted to make. I bought the vehicle in good faith, paying in full without a deposit. Later, when getting a lift installed, my mechanic discovered the vehicle had undergone a frame swap, a clear sign of severe past damage. This was never disclosed by Apple Ford, not in the Carfax report, not in the Certified Pre-Owned inspection documents. Even worse, the area where the VIN should be visible was painted over, hiding that it does not match my vehicle. I have photographic evidence from my mechanic’s report. Since discovering this, I have spent weeks trying to contact managers. No one has returned my calls. I have been left completely in the dark. The problems began immediately after purchase • The sales rep offered me $500 off the warranty if I left them a five-star review – keep this in mind when reading their glowing ratings. • I explicitly told the finance department I did not want a warranty, but the finance manager tried to slip it into my paperwork anyway, only removing it after I caught it. • I had my vehicle shipped to me, but it arrived without license plates. I had to drive without plates for weeks while repeatedly chasing my sales rep. He promised to overnight them but didn’t. • I was told I had a second set of keys – months later, despite multiple follow-ups, I still have not received them. • Communication from the dealership was consistently slow, dismissive, and unhelpful. Apple Ford’s conduct has been dishonest, unprofessional, and unethical from start to finish. They sold me a “Certified” vehicle that hides major accident history, ignored me when I sought answers, and repeatedly failed to deliver on their own promises. If you value honesty, transparency, and integrity, look elsewhere. This dealership does not care about you after the sale, and in my experience, they will go out of their way to avoid accountability. After I sent an email inquiry about a truck advertised on their website, Richard Martinez promptly replied with the information I had requested and quoted me a fantastic price. Subsequently I drove 250 miles their website, Richard Martinez promptly replied with the information I had requested and quoted me a fantastic price. Subsequently I drove 250 miles from Long Island to complete the transaction. When I told Richard what my preferences were, he quickly located the exact F150 I was looking for and drove more than 200 miles to pick it up and deliver it quickly. I received no pressure from F&I department and Justin King handled complicated out of state registration efficiently. I had an exceptional sales experience and I highly recommend this family owned dealership. More
Buyer Beware! Purchased a Ford Mustang 5.0 from Apple Ford paying top dollar, owned for less than 15 days and the AC went out. I lived 7 1/2 hours away from them r Purchased a Ford Mustang 5.0 from Apple Ford paying top dollar, owned for less than 15 days and the AC went out. I lived 7 1/2 hours away from them round trip and asked to have it repaired at a certified Ford dealer locally and at first they said NO and finally after much debate and aggravation, they agreed. Apparently there was a deductible to have it repaired and at first they said they weren't going to pay it and after debating again and again, stating I just received the vehicle, they finally agreed to pay the $100 deductible. I asked to have the car inspected to ensure nothing else was wrong with this newly purchased vehicle and they said if you drive here (7 1/2 hours round trip) we can relook at it, but we won't pay for someone else to do it for us. They literally refused like they were scared someone else would find out something else was wrong. So basically if I wanted it done, I would have to pay for this on my own. Well after getting the AC fixed, 3wks later the AC went out again while my daughter was at college and when calling Apple Ford, they basically said "not our problem" and you have to take it back to the place that said they fixed it. They took "no responsibility" for selling me a broken vehicle and as a consumer told me to deal with it on my own, really. Not to mention this is the General Manager of the dealership! Wow, just wow! This has been an absolute nightmare and I can't understand how legally a dealership can sell you a vehicle with mechanical issues and take no responsibility whatsoever, none! So here I am with a broken vehicle and once again having to coordinate a repair at a separate dealership with no support from the dealer who sold me this BAD APPLE! More

I wanted to leave a review to warn people not to take anything that either Justin King or Chris Bailey say on the phone or in writing in an email for granted. We negotiated a deal to purchase a truck. anything that either Justin King or Chris Bailey say on the phone or in writing in an email for granted. We negotiated a deal to purchase a truck. We are not local so we scheduled a time to come pick it up, secured a cashiers check for the purchase price and confirmed an appointment the next morning to purchase and pick up the truck. 15 minutes before getting in the car to come purchase the vehicle, we were told they sold the truck from under us. We had offered to sign a bill of sale, hold the truck with a credit card, etc and were told that was not necessary. They are liars and not to be trusted. More
Service department is a scam. I took my car in for a free oil change and they claimed I needed to replace my brand new battery as it was about to fail. I declined, and the next ti I took my car in for a free oil change and they claimed I needed to replace my brand new battery as it was about to fail. I declined, and the next time I took my car in for a free oil change the battery they said was failing previously was magically testing fine now. If you get oil changes here ALWAYS decline the maintenance they try and upsell you. My wife was duped when they said her rear brake pads were low and needed to be replaced. She agreed to have the brake pads replaced. When she picked up her car they billed her $700 for flushing the brake lines, and new pads and rotors More
