Had an issue with our sales rep Greg. He promised wet weather mats and would find the extra key to our vehicle I put 10k towards. The day we were supposed to come back for the key he claimed that was lost, he never followed through and never returned our second call. Before we left the dealer, he urged me not to worry and he will take care of his promises. My husband voluntarily came in the 3rd day and greg told him the wet weather mats were actually for a jeep and there was no extra key, and handed him over a card for us to purchase ourselves.After a terrible interaction with scott who was Greg’s superior, it made matters worse. He told my husband that Greg never said there was a key, he just said he’d “look for one”. This statement was completely false information and he shouldn’t have spoke on something he was not present for. I made the phone call to the GM and he made everything right within a few hours. The dealer management team Treated our family with respect and was apologetic by the two managers that greeted my husband after . Our sales rep never formally apologized, but management team was very receptive and responsive. I hope he understands that promises cannot be made that aren’t true and information withheld is not appropriate, especially to a military family that will be buying a vehicle from you and will need to move frequently. Moreover, in the finance dept ; Rampersaud was a little rude after I declined the extra offers to protect my vehicle, as I explained my insurance already covers most and some I was simply not interested in. The attitude completely shifted and he answered questions very subtly and urged me to sign when I took too long it seemed. Overall, despite our interactions I Would recommend this dealer to my family and friends. I would normally not return ever again after experiencing this but because the management team made things right I will consider purchasing another vehicle. Dealerships make mistakes but fixing it is what matters and that it what we wanted, and they did it. Thank you to the management team that went above and beyond to take care of our family. More
