Vehicle was originally taken in as a trade in, and was being sold as is, In its current condition, at a reduced price. Customer was aware of the condition of the vehicle. Customer even took vehicle to his own personal mechanic, and drove 3 times before purchase. Customer was aware of the condition, and the bumper issue at time of purchase, and still chose to purchase the vehicle. Asay Auto offers free Carfax reports to all of our customers, which was given to this particular customer. After purchase, customer had buyers remorse, and wanted to immediately return the vehicle. Asay Auto did their best to help this customer, even though they were not obligated to do anything, and the customer was aware of the issues at the time of sale. Asay auto went above and beyond, and replaced both splash Sheilds at their own cost, gave a replacement spare tire and jack, and even helped secure the bumper for the customer. We do all we can to make our customers happy, as long as they are respectful, and realistic. Unfortunately, this customer got short tempered with us, and started demanding we do things that were never promised. We even personally offered to help his daughter more with the vehicle, because we felt bad about how her dad was handling the situation, we hope she will bring the car back in to us if there are any further needs.
