Atamian Honda

My overall experience with Atamian has been good so far. I used Honda's online service to obtain three price quotes for a Honda Accord. While Atamian didn't quote the car that I "built" online correctly, th I used Honda's online service to obtain three price quotes for a Honda Accord. While Atamian didn't quote the car that I "built" online correctly, the quote was more complete than the others I received. One dealer did not provide a price quote until I made a follow up call. The other did not quote the "all in" cost including sales tax and other fees. Atamian's quote was prompt, clear and the most competitive of the three. The salesman was friendly and straight forward. The process around paying for the car and picking it has been a bit inefficient and so I don't have the car yet though I expect to pick it up shortly. Assuming that I do and am pleased with my purchase, I will recommend this dealership to others. More

John was polite, professional and answered all our questions and concerns. We had looked at other dealrerships, and compared the price with what was offered at Atamian. Jamie and Kevin concocted a scheme to bilk me out of over $2400! Asked them to meet or beat another dealer's quote and they had fabricated a story staating the orig. dealer was playing games with me and the $2400! Asked them to call the orig. dealer to verify it was a legit offer. They then left me and came back w/a cell phone stating it was the orig. dealer saying it was a bogus offer. I spoke w/the person on their cell phone who pretended to be the orig. dealership and he said no way could they honor their initial bid because the salesperson was "screwing with you cuz he didn't feel you were going to buy a car and wanted revenge so he gave you a whacked out figure to send you on a wild goose chase". I asked for them to call his Manager and they came back w/a cell phone and said this is the manager - he said he was firing the salesperson said he would give me a great price to make up for what I went through. He gave me a figure $2700 more than the orig. quote and said if Atamian can beat that deal "jump on it cuz it's a phenomenal deal". Jamie and Kevin said "we want to take that deal from him and rub his nose in it so we'll undercut him by $500". I signed all the paperwork, gave them a check for the full amt., had the sales tax put on my VISA and left to go home and clean out my trade. About 2 hrs. later, the orig. salesman (who was supposedly fired) called and aske me if I had beat his morning offer! I asked why he was calling after our conv. this afternoon and that with his manager and that I his mgr. told me he was firing him. He told me he and his mgr. never spoke with me and that the orig. offer was legit!!! Turns out, Jamie Gitschier and Kevin Craig (and others posing on the cell phone to be from the orig. dealer) concocted this scheme to drive up their selling price of the new Honda. I also found a dealer plate on my trade! WHen I was there earlier in the day, they took my license plate off my car and put it on the new car I test drove and threw a dealer's plate on my car!!! Totally illegal! I bought the new car @ the orig. dealer for the orig. quote. Went back to Atamian - told Jamie I knew what he and Kevin had done and the scam they perpetrated on me and I wanted my check back - Jamie replied "Ha! Not gettin' it!". Told him I'd put a stop on the check. Told him I wanted my VISA credited for the sale tax Jamie said "Hmmp. That ain't happenin'" an told me I wanted my license plate back and Jamie - recling back in his chair w/his hands clasp behind his head said "Go get it yourself". i asked him if he had a screwdriver and he said "Nope" and began to yell @ me. My young son asked Jamie not to speak to me like that and Jamie jumped out of his chair, slammed it backwards and charged around the desk and up into my son's face and chest and said "what are you gonna do about? go ahead. do something. hit me big boy. what do you weigh about 100 lbs?" I had already called 911 when Jamie began pacing w/a screwdriver in his hand mimicing me and taunting me and my son! Police got me back everything i wanted (check, visa credit and my plate). The Mgmt. @ Atamian appear to condone these illegal sales practices. I begun calling the Atty. General's office - Consumer Complaints, Better Bus. Bureau, Honda & VolksWagen(letting them know about the scumbag dealership ruining their good names), Susan Warnick, Help-Me-Hank Phillipe Ryan - Consumer Affairs and an attorney.
