He was patient, and spent a considerable amount of time going over the features of the car, and paired my phone for me. The dealership itself was efficiently run, and everyone was friendly and courteous. Our finance manager Charles, also spent time with us and patiently answered all our questions. We wanted to buy the car immediately and he was very honest about the availability of colors. He gave us the best price with none of the hassles!! When we picked up the car, he spent quite a bit of time with us demonstrating all of the features, pairing our phones, making sure that we comfortable with the navigation system. Went to Atlantic honda on 12-29-2012 after a yellow letter was sent by Rick Alessi (General Manager) to me saying my 2007 honda civic was in great demand and that I may be able to trade it in for a ne letter was sent by Rick Alessi (General Manager) to me saying my 2007 honda civic was in great demand and that I may be able to trade it in for a new 2013 Civic at or below my current payment. Met Christin who referred me and my wife to salesman Jiles. Jiles was very helpful and let me test drive the new civic Lx while showing me the bells and whistles of the car. After asking how much would my car appraise for Jiles insisted on knowing how much I owe on the car first.....hmmmmmm. I let him know the pymt on my vehicle that I bought used was 281/mo and that the max pymt that i could handle could be no more than $300/mo. He came back saying my vehicle came back with a accident that happened in 2009 (before I purchased the vehicle in 2010)that I knew nothing about. This supposedly severely affected the appraisal. He told me the car would be worth only around $3000. Even though I saw the kelly blue book value of about $8000. After going back and forth to the manager (Joe) we couldn't strike a deal. Joe then comes over to tell me I should lease instead and then finance after 3yrs which I said NO. I'm NOT financing a car for 8years. No problem, couldn't work out a deal, so me and my wife went home. Now Heres the problem, Salesman Jiles calls back countless times and tells me he has GREAT NEWS and that his manager says we can work out a deal on my terms(60mos) and MY payments (300/mo). He couldn't go into the (GREAT NEWS) over the phone So I made an appt with Jiles on 1-5-2013. When I came in Jiles immediately referred me to another salesman??? He said he had a meeting to attend to. R U serious??? Why make an appt with a customer and then take off?? Ask to speak to Rick Alessi but was told he wasn't in. Needless to say the the other salesman (don't know his name and at that point didn't care) told me the exact same thing they told me the first time and tried to get me to lease first. What a waste of my time!! Kudos to the service dept though. I would still take my car there for service but Would Not Recommend anyone to the sales floor. I feel the letter sent to me was very misleading and that Atlantic Honda just tries to take advantage and make u pay more. Sorry but this is how I feel. More
