My only negative experience at Atlantic Toyota was the day I cam to pickup the vehicle I waited 4 hours to get it. It was worth it in the end when I did drive off in my car. Buying the right car Although I was in the market for a new Camry, I wanted to upgrade from the LE. I met with Ben on Fri evening 8/19, and discussed the XLE and SE option Although I was in the market for a new Camry, I wanted to upgrade from the LE. I met with Ben on Fri evening 8/19, and discussed the XLE and SE options. He was very patient and knowledgeable and seemed confident he would be able to find a car with the options and color I would like. I made an appointment for the next day, which I had to cancel. I returned on Sunday, after reviewing the information and e-mails from Ben. I selected the 2017 Camry XLE in Predawn gray mica. This is the 4th Camry I have purchased from Atlantic. More
I wish I could could give zero stars I went in looking for a specific vehicle for a family member that I had been researching for a few weeks. I was told over the phone that the exact veh I went in looking for a specific vehicle for a family member that I had been researching for a few weeks. I was told over the phone that the exact vehicle was at their holding lot and was quoted a price of $30,300. After setting up an appointment to see the vehicle for a few days later, I arrived with my family and the car didn't even exist. Apparently the car I specifically asked for and was quoted for was "misinterpreted" for a much more expensive car. The car available to see was a different color and was priced at $31,730 even though it was supposedly the same vehicle as the one I asked for. We decided to look at it anyway to see if we liked it. Our salesman Ben wasn't completely terrible; he did his best to show us the vehicle and walk us through the features. It was time to talk numbers and the sales manager refused to play fair when giving us a deal. Even though I was told over the phone how the dealership was having huge sales, 0% APR and "employee pricing," the sales manager low-balled our trade-in and wanted us to put over 50% down for a vehicle that wasn't even worth the price tag. He didn't treat us with any level of professionalism and he was definitely not interested in making a sale despite the fact that a different sales manager told us he sold over 25 cars that day. Our salesman also didn't seem very interested in pushing his manager to give us a better deal and make the sale. I have spoken to a few people who have inquired about Toyotas and they all had a horrible experience. I would not recommend spending any of your time in this dealership due to the unwanted pressure this dealership puts on their customers. We had a much better customer service experience and car-buying experience somewhere else. Not only that but we purchased a much nicer and more luxurious vehicle with a better deal by avoiding anything to do with Toyota. Do yourself a big favor and give your business to a dealership that makes your experience comfortable and effortless from start to finish and never settle just because you feel you have to have a car. Always remember: you don't have to buy a car, but a dealership needs your business! A good sales team knows that. More
