I ordered a mechanical replacement key, costing $180. 00, which is ridiculous. When it arrived at the dealership, I was called to pick it up and told an appointment was needed. I was offered a free survey of my car, and a car wash for $25.00. I turned down the wash, as the car was clean, but accepted the survey. When I brought the car in, I was told there was an additional $99.00 fee for "programming" the key. It's mechanical, why would it need "Programming"? But OK, it's just more dealership banditry and what am I going to do. The invoice I was given said I had "declined" the free inspection, but I hadn't. I was just happy to leave with my teeth. More
