I bought my Audi at Danbury and was generally happy enough with the service if not the price of it. I continued to have my car serviced by them after the warranty ended. I followed all scheduled maint enough with the service if not the price of it. I continued to have my car serviced by them after the warranty ended. I followed all scheduled maintenance suggestions. At 75,000 miles I paid over two thousand dollars for their recommended service. A month or two later a light came on indicating trouble. I took the car to service and he knew exactly what was wrong. The computer below the floor on the right side had been damaged by water. He immediately lifted the hood and looked at a drain underneath and sure enough it was clogged by leaves. He said I should have been removing leaves from the windshield. Only this was in the summer when there were not a lot of leaves and the 75,000 mile check up had been only a month or two before, I asked why didn't they catch it at the maintenance servicing. He said they don't ordinarily do that. I asked why not since he seemed to be immediately aware of what had gone wrong and went immediately to the place it had been clogged. Anyway the uncovered repair was over a 1400 dollars, reduced slightly when I haggled and haggled with the service manager. Their basic attitude was it was an old (6 years old) car and I should expect these things. They also told me I could claim it was flood damage and my insurance would cover it. Only I couldn't get them to talk to the insurance man and when they did my insurance adjuster told me the service person told him it was due to customer negligence. This is the second car we've leased from Danbury Audi. We live in NYC and weekend here in CT. We like to spend money up here to support the area, but typically have our Audi serviced in Manhattan. From now on, however, we'll do the servicing in Danbury as well since they'll make it so easy with a loaner car and all. From the folks on the the phone to all everyone saying hello and welcoming us like family, it was a GREAT experience. Tom Weeks wasn't only completely knowledgeable, but very good humored and totally honest. When I asked him about a certain color combination he gave me his honest felling which was that he didn't like it so much.... cracked us up and we ended up with the most beautiful exterior and interior combination with all the bells and whistles too. It's a Small World. We had bought our first Audi 22 years ago from Tony at another Dealership that shall not be mentioned. I needed a part for our 22 year old Audi and was in Danbury and stopped into the Dealership to order the part. When I turned around there was Tony. O happy days! It was great seeing him again. I also was going to need service on the 1991 200 Avant and the A4 Cab. Tony introduced me to John Hansen and I was off and running. We had leased the A4 and were going to buy it. Tony helped us get a very good deal. So that made two cars we bought from Tony. The service that John Hansen has taken care of has been the most professional that I have ever experienced!! I have owned over 20 different cars from Europe and had to have them serviced from one time or another. It is a joy to had over the payment each time knowing that the job was done the first time correctly and at a fair price. Because of the great relationship with service and Tony's continued interest in that the Dealership was taking excellent care of us and our cars. We went back up to Tony for our newest addition. We were looking at a Q5 and the new Allroad. Tony took a lot of time to explain the differences between the two and gave very good comparative teat drives. The Allroad won out. Our daughter is going to be getting her licence this summer so we may be back for a used A3 TDI. I am a LEED Designer and having a very GREEN car is important. This is my 3rd lease--- the other two were with BMW. Audi is much better. 1. More front room 2. Easier using multi media interface. 3. A smoother riding car. I did not like the run flat tires on my BMW!!! More
