Distance Doesn't Matter at Elk Grove Audi!! I purchased my Audi Q5 TDI from Elk Grove Audi a year after my initial email to them inquiring about a used Allroad they had. Mike Fallis called me within a short time providing me with the information that I requested. We discussed my desire for a vehicle with good fuel economy and something a little larger than my current car. He mentioned that the Q5 would be coming out in diesel soon which I was already aware of from our local dealership (and familiar with diesels since we already own other diesel cars). Even though I visited several local Audi dealerships to test drive the Q5 when the diesel arrived, they either didn't have the exact car I wanted, the customer service was poor and/or their pricing was too high. Mike always kept me updated as to his inventory either via email, text or a call. Just enough to be thoughtful but never any pressure. I wasn't in a hurry for a car so instead of ordering, I felt that I would wait until the color and feature combination came up and I could decide to purchase at that time. Then one time when Mike and I were talking, I told him what I would like and if he received it, to let me know. He decided to take it upon himself to convert one that their dealership had ordered for their standard inventory to my specifications. He let me know what he had done but he said that there was no pressure and if I didn't want it, they would sell it to someone else. He continued to update me as to the status of the car, where it was in production and when it would arrive at their dealership. Before it was to arrive we agreed to the price and terms (which was much better than the local dealerships in the Bay Area and East Bay). Again all of this was accomplished remotely since I lived 120 miles from the dealership. When the car arrived at the dealership, Mike sent photos of the car and we agreed to a day to meet. I decided to drive with my family to the dealership, even though Mike offered to pick me up at the train station in Sacramento. The day that I purchased and drove the car home was the first time I met Mike in person. He was pleasant, very helpful and efficient. I purchased the car from Elk Grove even though it was further than several dealerships close to where I live because he kept in touch just enough to show that he cared and not too much to feel pressured. I would recommend Mike and this dealership to anyone, without hesitation. The distance was not a factor at all. We still keep in touch via email and phone checking on how it's going with the new car. All is going great with my new Q5 TDI! More

Great service start to finish and beyond I went to Elk Grove Audi to research and test drive the Q5. The evening that I went to Elk Grove Audi I was also gathering more information and had a price in mind that I wanted to pay. I was greeted by Rich when I walked onto the lot. He was very friendly and a wealth of information. I got into the Q5 to take a test ride and he spent several minutes going over the multitude of bells and whistles and techie stuff that the Q5 had available. I am very much into the tech stuff and was surprised to learn there were also 3 different driving modes the vehicle was capable of (all omitted during my test drive at the competitor). We then took the Q5 out for a spin, I was able to check out it's highway performance as well as some back road turning radius assessments. The entire experience completely sold me on the vehicle being exactly what I desired. I had done quite a bit of research and knew the price that I wanted to negotiate, this process took approximately 3 minutes! That's right 3 minutes, I told them my price, and they agreed. It was better than the truecar price and lower than the average price paid on Edmunds. I was very pleased and ordered my custom Q5. I received email updates at every stage of the process, when the car went to be built, got to port in Germany, when it arrived in port in San Diego, when it was truck loaded and in route to the dealership. Mike Fallis took delivery of the vehicle had it detailed and ready to go as soon as it hit the lot so I could enjoy my Q5 at the earliest possible moment. He then spent a great deal of time going through all the special Audi connect features, and answered my multitude of questions. I would Highly recommend Elk Grove Audi to all of my friends and family. They give the personalized service that is so often overlooked. More

This is a new and better way to buy a car. Why can't it be this easy every where else. My husband and I work long hours and have 2 kids so we didn't have time to shop around for a car. We knew what model we wanted so started emailing dealerships. A couple didn't respond, a couple insisted that we come in and meet them, a couple went ahead and gave us quotes. Elk Grove went well above and beyond. They continued to exceed the best quotes we got, answered all of our emailed questions in a very timely manner. And now for the best part.... we submitted all of our paperwork by email, made an appointment to pick up the car on a Satruday. I was in and out of the dealership in 45 minutes, driving away in my new car. The trade in, lease signing, and review of the car took no time at all. I was certain that I was going to arrive and they would try to renegotiate the price, etc. That couldn't be further from the truth - everyone was ready and prepare to get me in and out of the door on the exact terms we had prenegotiated. The last time I bought a car it took 6.5 hours!! I live in Oakland and work in San Franciso and it was abosutely worth the drive to Elk Grove just for this experience not to mention the price. We bought a 2011 Audi Certified Audi Q5. We had been looking for a particular color and option set for some time, and found it at Elk Grove. Ralph Jackson met us at the door after a 2 hour drive, and did a really fine job throughout the sale process, as did Michael in the finance department. The dealership was very nicely laid out, the only slight discomfort coming from an Audi RS5 right behind us -- I could hear it growling softly all the time. We love the car, we really appreciated the time Ralph spent with us to go over its complexities -- all in all, they did a really great job, right down to Ralph grabbing a battery booster when we tried to head home, because I had left the lights on in our old Jeep and flattened the battery!
