Has been sitting on the lot for over 3 months - CARFAX showed an accident - just described as a right side impact. Priced below KBB, naturally. So I asked Lucas what is the story with the accident (since the car was a local trade-in). He says he doesn't know much... But he starts bragging about how their top mechanic drove the car for 10 days as a personal car, how the car passed an EXTENSIVE mechanical inspection and it is FLAWLESS. The story about the accident is simple - former owner hit the central island in a gas station - cosmetic damage - repaired professionally. We come to a price agreement - I'm ALMOST ready to put pen to paper - but I want to see the car on the lift. PLEASE READ ON: I see the right rear tire inner edge worn to the wire - HUGE ALIGNMENT problem - that's the impact side - I ask a mechanic what's up - he admits the car is UNSAFE AND MOST LIKELY HAS FRAME !!! DAMAGE. Lucas disappears ... BILL GILLEN the Used Car Manager comes RUNNING and starts yelling at me that the deal is off ! I say - put it on the alignment rack - I want the car - just put in the contract that you will fix it. He says no, that's it , we're done. I ask to see the the General Manager - he says no. I insist, start raising my voice - he gets Mario Rogic - I'll be fair - nice guy, polite, nothing like BILL GILLEN (belongs in a garbage truck dealership). He says this car is very dangerous to drive (I drove it twice, who knows how many other suckers did). I asked him if it's normal for a dealership that represents a premium brand like Audi to try to RIP OFF customers. You REALLY think they didn't know the car was with frame damage or at least some vital suspension components bent ??? I caught that INSTANTLY. And it's normal for BILL GILLEN to start yelling at me when I discovered he's a crook ? Bottom line - Would you like to be SAFE ? Would you like to not throw 35K on a car that's UN DRIVABLE ? Do you want to be conned ? I think Audi should look for HONEST DEALERS to represent them. Mario Rogic is a nice guy. BILL GILLEN and to a lesser extent Lucas Kielar are KNOWINGLY double crossing people. Thank God I know a thing or two about cars. I highly recommend this dealership and Ramzi in particular if your are shopping for a pre-owned Audi. These guys are very attentive with great follow through and very flexible. They did a great job helping me with financing and secured the best possible rate I could find. My car buying experience was the best I had In my life. Ramazi directed me to cars that were in my budget and preference profile. We didn't waste time negotiating. They really helped me out with getting financing for the car. Being that I didn't have an auto loan in my name in the past it was very difficult for them to get me a loan, but they found a way and I was ver car. Ramzi Amawi and the rest of the Audi Exchange staff made me feel like I was buying an Audi R8 (List price $250,000.0 purchasing a car, but anywhere. Ramzi Amawi and the rest of the Audi Exchange staff made me feel like I was buying an Audi R8 (List price $250,000.00) even though it was actually a 6-year old Audi A4. My wife is a Japanese where the customer service phrase is not "the customer is always right" but "The customer is God". She felt, without a doubt, that this was the best customer service and sales experience she has ever had outside of Japan and that it compared with the best of the service offered in that country that is legendary for service. Our car looked brand-new thanks to the superb detailing and these guys provided us with new rear brakes since the ones on the car looked like they might need replaced fairly soon. We got a price WAY below KBB. Ramzi made us feel comfortable at every turn and my four-year old daughter was kooky for him. That should tell the tell right there. We were "wowed" You will be, too. Special mention to Dan Fernstrom for making the financing part easy, breezy for scheezy. Thank you!!! We will buy every car we ever get in the future here even if it's not an Audi. More
