This review is based on my personal experience with Audi Meadowlands Service Dept at 4700 Westside Ave. North Bergen, NJ. On 4/12/2013 I brought in my '07 A6 3.2 Avant for HVAC issue which was fixed. The ne Meadowlands Service Dept at 4700 Westside Ave. North Bergen, NJ. On 4/12/2013 I brought in my '07 A6 3.2 Avant for HVAC issue which was fixed. The next day, I noticed there was damage to a panel on driver side following which I immediately e-mailed the Service Advisor with photos asking for an explanation. For 4 weeks, my subsequent follow-up e-mails were ignored until 5/8/13 when the SA e-mailed me, not to accept responsibility for the damage but to indicate her Service Mgr advised I bring the vehicle in "to see what we can do". On 5/16/2013 I set up a 5:30pm appointment to drop off my '13 A6 2.0 Sedan (leased from their sales dealership at 425 Rt 3 East Secaucus, NJ.) for collision repairs (some unknown party hit my vehicle in my parking garage) with a request for a loaner car. On presenting my paperwork (cost estimates, etc from my auto insurer), the SA said they only gave out loaner cars for service/warranty work (which in my opinion was factually incorrect based on my prior visits). Given that I had set up the appointment earlier in the day with specific details and a request for a loaner vehicle - for which the assigned SA didn't have the courtesy to let me know in advance of this 'policy' - I asked to speak with her (service) manager; this was unsuccessful as he had 'left for the day' according to the SA; all this time, not one of the 'managers' at their desks or standing around offered to assist. In summary, she nonchalantly told me there was nothing she could do; I should speak with my insurer to provide me a rental! At this point, I collected my paperwork+keys and left. I think a business that demonstrates such flagrant disregard (even disrespect) to its customers either [1] does not understand that it costs far more to acquire a new customer than to keep an existing one satisfied or [2] just doesn't care.
