Damien was not only very knowledgeable about his product, but he was also the most patient salesman that I had the pleasure of talking with. I never felt pressured to make a decision and he supported me whenever I needed to take time to think about it. It was that no pressure approach that helped put me at ease and made me feel confident that I was making the right decision. After 6 months of research I narrowed my search down to one car: the Audi s4. Shopping for a new car is worse than anything I can think of. I mean, who likes to feel like a "mark" the second the step onto the lot? I began at a local Audi dealership and, athough it wasn't a terrible experience, I couldn't help but having that sleazy dealership feeling after I left. I went home and continued my research. I found an s4 at DCH MIllburn Audi that was optioned exactly how I wanted it. I did all of my number crunching a gave them a call. Since DCH is 45 minutes from my home, I wanted to negotiate as much as I could before driving all the way out there. After telling the receptionist what I was looking for, I was passed along to Don Kim. Because I had read tons of reviews about DCH on Dealer Rater, the name "Don Kim" was already familiar in my mind. I told Don that I was 45 minutes away and wanted to negotiate on the phone. A few calls and a few emails later, we gave each other a virtual hand shake and I went to the dealership to pick the car up and sign the paperwork just hours later. The car was washed and prepped and I was in and out of the dealership in less than an hour. I can't stress enough how impressed I am with Don Kim's no xx approach to selling cars. I needed to buy a car and they needed to sell a car. The price was right and the car was sold. Too many dealerships have a culture of treating customers like victims; trying to squeeze every last penny out of them. Not Don Kim. Don is a proffesional and, although you'd think that's common place among luxury car salesmen, it's not. Turns out he was our salesmen from another dealership years ago that closed down and he was a pleasure then. Glad it's a small world that we found him again. It was as simple as one phone call and he met our needs in 15 mins without a visit to the dealer. He is a true salesmen without the pressure. We came to the dealership which was a pleasure without the highway pressure to check the color combo which turned out to be perfect. Then set an appt to pick up car following week which he didn't pressure us to leave a deposit due to our previous loyalty. It was like he read my mom's mind because she was wanting a special color interior for a long time. He then suggested it without knowing since it's now standard and she was sold along with his great pricing. There are many reasons why we would recommend this dealership to our friends and family. First of all, upon entering the dealership my wife and I were warmly greeted by staff. We then took noticed of the cleanliness of the facility. Within minutes a courtesy young man approached us and introduced himself to us as Karim. We already knew what we were interested in and expressed our desire to test drive a vehicle. He expeditiously arranged this for us. We explained to Karim that we were torn between buying either the Audi or BMW. After the test drive, we sat with Karim and with patience and understanding we explained what our parameters were for buying a vehicle. We subsequently left the dealership feeling no pressure or obligation from Karim. He fully understood our position in feeling the need to explore all of our options. In the days following, I received some follow up phone calls from Karim inquiring if he could be any assistance with our decision making. At first I did not believe I had any questions but in fact I had numerous. Karim was extremely helpful in answering my questions and he patiently waited for me to get back to him. When my wife and I finally decided that we were going to purchase the A4 there was no question in our minds that we were going back to see Karim and purchase the vehicle. It was Karims' no pressure friendliness, kindness, and understanding of our needs that made us drive 77 miles one way from our home, past another Audi dealership to finalize the deal. When we are ready to purchase our next Audi we will be visiting Karim. More
