After having Steven Creek Audi totally screw up my 7 month long factory order for an SQ8, and almost making me abandon Audi brand forever with their hideous service, Audi of Monterey saved the day. All that we met and worked with there were outstanding, they made a huge effort and located the still rare SUV back East that was 98% configured to my original order at Steven Creek, who never even communicated with me. special shoutout to Joey Sheinfield. Really? Lies, fleas, fleece, flim-flam, trickery, w...t.... f-ery is this...? you name it. We have never heard so many bold faced lies, even from scrappy oldtime used car dealers. They claim to d w...t.... f-ery is this...? you name it. We have never heard so many bold faced lies, even from scrappy oldtime used car dealers. They claim to do things that can only be done at factory, to get you to sign. They state that the requested options are no good, that they always change them [to the ones that they have on the lot], because those are "far better" and "what everyone wants". The price went up and options sideways every time they communicated (email, telephone), even with the vin and stock number posted with details. After they sent the purchase offer via email, there was endless f-ery and dickery. "You want it at that price? We'll take out the stereo, [yes roof racks, no roof racks, $400, $700]", and increasing $$$$ over Audi price. Already reported them. How close to fraud to you really need to get? People want these vehicles. Why force it? Why fraud it?? Bold faced bullying to get you to sign, demanding and threatening. Yes, really. 27 calls/emails from 5 different people, marketing and harassing but no negotiation. After I asked them to stop contacting me 2+ weeks after we couldn't engage to conclusion with a drive away, I stated that I had gone to another dealer. They demanded to know which dealer and threatened that they would tell that and every dealer that I was "tire kicking", not buying and that they would take that car so that I couldn't. They did in fact call another dealer. Twisted. More

We'd reserved the car with a $1000 deposit. The sale contractual process went reasonably fine. We asked for a CPO certificate and Scott Knight (the finance manager) gave us a one-pager to sign. However, he didn't include it in the doc package he gave. I've since asked him repeatedly to send it along with a soft (electronic) copy set of the dox. However, when we were leaving, I noticed that the easy entry/exit function wasn't working - which slides the driver's seat back and raises the steering wheel. We asked them to correct it and when they couldn't after 40 minutes, we asked them to deliver the car. Scott refused it first but then relented. The car was delivered after a day and a half, but the function doesn't seem to be operational. Zeeman More

They took so long to get the loan docs ready so by the time he was reviewing everything I was just listening to his brief description of what each paper was about. Never did he mention that some of those adds where optional. They just added things to make the loan payment to the max that I was willing to pay. More
