My beloved 2000 B5 S4 has hit 88K miles and along with a "Major Service" needed a new timing belt/water pump/thermostat/rollers/idlers, new valve cover gaskets and all four cam phasers seals replaced, a coo "Major Service" needed a new timing belt/water pump/thermostat/rollers/idlers, new valve cover gaskets and all four cam phasers seals replaced, a coolant flush and fill and other services to get her in shape for the next 23 years :) I felt blessed to find that coincidently the technician assigned to my S4 (Julio) had also owned a Laser Red '00 B5 S4 and had loved his car as well. Had to be a good sign. I picked up the car and it's running as perfect as the car appears. Had to take it out on The Big Road for a blast on the way home and enjoyed every mile. Ross and Julio took extra special care of my car and I appreciate every bit of their effort. Cheers! More
