Hi Mr. Poon, Thank you for your feed back regarding your experience here. Although you were not the purchaser on this vehicle I wanted to address the review you posted on Dealerrater. It is my hope that with a better understanding as to why you were not approved to be a co-signor for your friend, you will see the transaction in a new light. I would be remiss if I didn't note that Jeff's main responsibility is to work with the banks for our customers to not only get our customers approved, but also get them a low finance rate. If Jeff fails in his role then the dealership loses a sale. He works for our customers and with the bank to accomplish this however, the loan is being provided by the bank after all, and ultimately they have the final say as to who they will accept or decline. Here are some of the factors that influenced the lenders final decision for Shiza's lease. ** Shiza had insufficient credit history as she was only just issued a social security #. Banks are less apt to lease a car to someone who has not have a track record of paying back loans since they take no collateral. ** This is also the case with the first co-signor she presented. HOWEVER, we WERE able to secure a retail loan for them at a nery low interest rate but they declined as they only wanted a lease which uses different criteria and made them ineligible. ** The second co-signor had an extremely low credit score and was not a viable co-buyer for a lease. ** You were the third co-signor that we presented to the bank on the same application (unusual). While the bank understands that you were able to obtain an approval on your current car, your credit report indicates that you have only made (2) payments thus far. In addition, because of your limited borrowing history, you were only able to obtain your approval with the stipulation that your mother would be a co-signor on your lease. It wasn't your age... it was your limited borrowing history. You only just entered your agreement recently. Had you paid off an entire lease before, and not just a couple of months, then this probably would not have been a concern for the lender. I have spoken with Jeff about your feelings and he was very apologetic and in no way wanted to you leave with that perception. Hi Mr. Shishko, thank you for your response and I appreciate your explanation. I understand the concerns regarding my limited credit history. What I do not understand was how Jeff approached the subject and explained this to me. First, Jeff did not go into detail at all in our meeting as much as you did now, which just shows the lack of care and effort in the potential deal. Second, he came across as rude and it seemed like we were wasting his time, which we felt was due to a relatively small deal on the table ($300 A3 lease). Third, the way Jeff seemed to mention my age a number of times during our meeting, made me feel that my age was the issue...he could have solely mentioned the limited years of credit history, but he had to bring into the conversation exactly how old I am. I know he may not have purposely meant it, but the way he handled the discussion could have been better. I am tired of dealerships that do not take me seriously based on my age and how they may perceive me as an unserious customer. I believe I have said what needs to be said, but if you would like to discuss this matter further, please reply back anytime.

Hi Mr. Poon, It's clear to me that Jeff mishandled this transaction and that he did not display the empathy that he should have. I will say however in the nearly 2000 transactions that he has handled for us, I have rarely had a customer complaint about a "lack of care". I can tell you that we take all of our customers seriously. We understand that we are not on "Auto Row" and that if someone walks in our door, they've come out of their way to see and are thus are a high quality opportunity. Our goal is to have everyone who visits our showroom leave with a positive, memorable experience. Here, we failed. As you suggested in your first email, young buyers are critical to our future success. Our intent is to sell you all of your cars not just this one. we strive to do that by providing an exceptional experience. Just one last point, whether an A3 or an A8, in todays competitive landscape, every car we sell has a tight margin and in fact, we sell many cars below invoice (as we did with Shiza. Don't be distracted by the price point of the car. It's still an Audi, the finest luxury car on the road today. Come see us down the line, I assure you that your experience will be what you expect.
