As a former car salesman I understand the typical sales process, and expected the "standard" treatment that we've all experienced time and again at other dealerships. NOT the case at St. Paul Audi. I didn't go into the dealership looking to purchase a vehicle, but rather to test drive the car that I had been researching for a very long time. The salesperson and the rest of the staff were so outstanding that I felt that the team over at St. Paul Audi genuinely earned my business. When everything worked out vehicle and cost wise I literally had to pull the trigger. Everyone I worked with was incredibly helpful, friendly, and customized the process to my needs. I was expecting to be at the dealership 2-3 hours, as is standard during the car buying process, but that was not the case. I was in and out of the dealership in 40 minutes. Jen and Michelle (finance) were prepared for my visit, very efficient in going over the paperwork, and could not have been friendlier. Watch your wallet I brought my car in for a specific repair which was completed satisfactorily but not without attempting a $1000.00 upsale to the needed repair. They didn't tell me they were going to put the car on a lift and search for additional work (they came up with another $1300.00 + in additional suggestions). They also did some recall work without my knowledge and washed my car in 10 degree weather so the doors were frozen and the backup alarm wouldn't shut off due to ice. I would have declined all of that and its not your car - you should ask first. More
