The gentleman, Mark, who checked me in was friendly, professional, and well informed. Despite being quite busy, he remained calm. Joe, the driver who returned me to my home and then came back to get me and took be back to Auffenberg’s was also friendly, courteous and a VERY good driver. They both provided excellent customer service. This has not always been by experience with the service department5 at Auffenberg’s. I appreciate all these individual’s did and the great customer service they provided. More
Sure should have looked at this dealership's bad reviews first before heading out and getting screwed. I am an older guy and feel taken advantage of, they did NOT sell the car at the listed price on their w first before heading out and getting screwed. I am an older guy and feel taken advantage of, they did NOT sell the car at the listed price on their website, used "List" and slipped all those stupid insurances under too. My bad for signing the sale contract, but I will get a lawyer involved to figure this out. This is elder abuse! More

If I could give zero stars I would. I am only writing this to make sure that someone else is not deceived like I was. It all started when I reached out to auffenberg ford back in Januar I am only writing this to make sure that someone else is not deceived like I was. It all started when I reached out to auffenberg ford back in January 2024 about a left over new Edge that they had in stock . I confirmed price and details multiple times before going because I live about 45 minutes away. All was great until I got there and realized that it was a loaner that had 1100 miles which I was not told before making the trip. That was still not a huge deal because I was getting a great price and I was still getting all of the perks like a new car and was going to be the original owner. The real problem was discovered 2 years later. In the mean time I actually went back there and bought another vehicle for my husband and sent my brother in law there for a new vehicle as well. While I was there getting my husband’s vehicle, the gm Jon Garrett asked me if I had considered trading for an explorer. I said yes if the numbers work I would consider it. He looked at my Edge and said “ because of the accident I can’t only give you 20k.” I didn’t think anything of it and immediately corrected him. I said it had never been in an accident you must be thinking of the hail claim that I made. I did have that fixed. Since numbers didn’t work I let it go for a few months until a few weeks ago. I started shopping again. Multiple dealers kept giving me low trade in numbers and they said it was because of the accident. At this point I was puzzled because I bought the car new and I had never been in an accident. Finally I ended up trading the car. the dealer that I traded with showed me what everyone had been talking about on the car fax. On 5/3/23 with 30 miles on it the Edge had been in an accident. The car fax states that it hit a curb, went off of the road and hit a utility pole. The vehicle had to be towed and many suspension parts had to be replaced. I then purchased the car as a new car January 2024. I was very upset that I was not told that my car had been in an accident. I then sent emails to the gm Dustin Baron and the owner as well as leaving multiple voice mails. I got no response. I finally called again a week later and ironically got the gm for the Belleville store,Jon Garrett. He was the first one to tell me my trade was worth less because of the accident. I expressed my frustrations and he let me know that he would speak to the other GM and return my call in a couple of days. A week and a half goes by with no call so I called again. He said the state of Illinois does not require an accident to be disclosed even if the car is new. They said because I got a good deal they will not do anything for me. He also let me know that the emails for the staff that they have posted online just go to spam. I would have never bought the car if I knew about the accident even if I got a good deal. I ended up paying for it when I traded it in. In the end they did not see a problem. They think if you give someone a good price it is ok to lie. Please avoid this dealership at all costs if you want an honest, transparent experience. More
