His professionalism, enthusiasm, and kindness made the experience fun and easy. Following the purchase of my vehicle Mark set up some autobody repair and my first oil change as well. He went far above and beyond to make my overall experience with Auffenberg Nissam a great one. I would highly recommend Mark to any of my family or friends in the market for a new vehicle. Mark Chapman was a HUGE help to us, took the time to listen to our needs, and took the time to make sure we were satisfied at every step of the transaction; from finding the car all the way through the finance paperwork. Dustin was very friendly and helpful in selecting our new Altima. Auffenberg was very busy on the day my wife and I were there and Dustin stayed after hours on a Saturday night to get the deal done. If I have any complaints it would be with the sales manager, Jason Straub. Before going to Auffenberg to look at cars I called Jason because I was trading in 2 vehicles, one was a lease and the other I owned. I knew this would not be your average car deal so I wanted to deal with the sales manager. Jason said when I get to the dealership to ask for him and he would take care of me. Upon arriving at Auffenberg I asked for Jason and he passed me on to Dustin. Dustin had to keep going back and forth to Jason until we could agree on the final price. As I said before they were very busy that day and it took 4 hours before I finally got the paperwork done. Most of the time waiting was for Dustin to talk to Jason and Jason never did talk to me. For me it would have been much better to talk to Jason directly but I guess he was too busy to deal with me. Auffenberg did not have what my wife and I wanted in stock so they had located one through dealer trade that they could have by Monday and we signed papers on that vehicle. I called Dustin on Monday and was told that they could not find a car like we wanted through dealer trade and that the car we signed papers on was not available. He said they had a car in transit from the factory that was like we wanted and it would be there by the weekend if that was okay with me which I agreed to. My wife and I then had to go back to the dealership on Wednesday night to sign papers again for the car we were actually getting. The car came in on Friday as Dustin had promised. It had a couple extra options that I did not order originally and they threw them in on the deal at no cost. When my wife and I picked up our new car Dustin was again very friendly and explained everything we needed to know about the vehicle and apologized for what had happened. We also saw Jason that night but he walked right by my wife and I without even saying "Hi". Since 1974 I have purchased a new car every two years and this is beyond a doubt the worst car buying experience I have ever had. This was the first and last time I will ever sign papers on a vehicle before the car is delivered to me. Would I recommend Auffenberg Nissan to my friends? I would say "yes" because Dustin did a good job handling the situation, but if I was to consider how I was ignored and treated by the sales manager, Jason Straub, the answer would be a big "No". More
My experience at Auffenberg Nissan was very pleasing. For my first visit there, I was in the market for a new car at some point in the near future, but not that day. I was never pressured into making a decision on a particular day unless I was ready. Dustin understood this and was very patient with me during my 5 visits. I also had my eye on a Volkswagon Jetta. When he found this out, we immediately went next door to a sister dealership and test drove the Jetta. He was so confident in the product he was selling and could back it up. He knew that I was eventually going to choose Nissan because of how great the vehicle is compared to the other makers. I've had the car for 5 months now and the minor issue I had with a speaker was fixed in less than a week. When I need to make a last minute maintenance and oil check, they always deliver. I am a happy Nissan owner and would absolutely recommend visiting the professional staff at Auffenberg. More
Went in last year to buy a car and Mark Chapman helped me find the right car for me. I wanted somthing with good gas milage and a good price so he suggested the Nissan Sentra. I love my car! He encouraged me to look at several vehicles to figure out which one I wanted and would often update me on new arrivals to the lot based on the features I desired. Mark Chapman was great to work with in buying my new Maxima. The parts dept so far is giving me a hassle with my taillights, but Mark the sales person was great.
