Everyone was very nice and helpful. The quality of the work was really good. I was able to work at the comfortable station and they made the waiting to get the work done easy. This "rating system" won't allow enough space for all the details faced with the Finance Dept. (I was pre-approved through my bank & was straight up lied to by them needing me to "apply again" and NOT dinging my credit. Finance manger wouldn't return phone calls, payment was coming due in 2 wks, found out my loan hadn't even been processed with my credit union. Sales lady said the copy they took of my driver's license was "blurry" & was holding up the loan. No one bothered calling me to let me know this. I wish there was enough room to explain the entire situation with finance! Ongoing issues: 1.) Before leaving the lot the very first night, I found there was a black, "tar-like" substance splattered on the top and passenger side of the vehicle that, I believe, was from a sloppy Ceramicoat sprayer. I was told NOT to try and remove this myself because it would "void the Ceramicoat warranty, the detail shop will handle this." 2.) There was only 1 key fob for the vehicle. I asked for another one & was told I'd have to purchase it and that "their guy" who programs those only comes in on Tuesdays. 3.) The built-in back license plate screw receptacles are stripped & the license plate only "lightly" attaches to the the vehicle. The service manager and sales lady assured me they'd have these issues taken care of but I would need to bring it back during a week day. I explained I worked M-F in St. Louis, don't have much time off of work, & their service department closes before I even get off work. I would try to get the vehicle brought in as soon as I could. Exactly 1 week later, I was driving on a major highway & heard a "pop" beneath the vehicle, then a dragging sound. Stopped to find two of the three sections of "skid plate" beneath the vehicle had already either been missing (or had come off) & the back portion was dragging the ground! (A mechanic should have seen this when they prepared the vehicle for sale! 167 Point Inspection???). I took photos and sent them immediately to the sales lady. Was told to set up an appointment & the reconditioning center would get this fixed, along with the license plate screw receptacles. I also mentioned I'd like the detail center to clean the spots off, & for service to be ready for us to get an additional key fob. I made an appointment for the following Tuesday (my spouse took off work for this) to deal with the issues mentioned above. 1.) The reconditioning department (even though pictures were provided) said they had to order the skid plate and it wouldn't be in for several weeks. I was at work & texted the sales lady about this. She said, "Well, a mechanic has to see it, we can't just go by word of mouth, there is a 'system' we have to go through." She stated, "It's just a skid plate, it's not going to hurt anything unless you drive through a flood." So this wasn't fixed & the reconditioning department didn't even bother to "pin" the back section back up, or take it off to prevent it from dragging the ground. They also did not fix the license plate screw receptacles (sales lady assured me they would). 2.) The vehicle was supposed to go to detailing to have the black spots removed from the paint, it did not and they are still on the car. 3.) My spouse asked about a key fob being made since he was there on a Tuesday (sales lady knew we were coming in advance & said she'd make sure they knew) & was told they had "no open appointments available," we'd have to come back. Shocked this will cost $400-$600, but still want because I do not like having ONE key fob in case the other is accidentally lost. My mother worked for Auffenberg years ago & they were an honest, reliable dealership. Apparently that's no longer the case. My sister goes to this dealership & said she's had a few issues, but overall, hasn't been treated like this. More
