" Stress of car shopping Relieved" So like 100's of others I had an accident on November 15, 2018 in the snow and totaled my Suv. After searching and searching on line, another SUV popp So like 100's of others I had an accident on November 15, 2018 in the snow and totaled my Suv. After searching and searching on line, another SUV popped up in my price range from Darryls showroom. So I emailed that I was interested in that SUV.. Very well aware of the dealer name from their dealership in Red bank, this was at their other location. Daryl called me in response to my email. I went up to look at the car, I didn't like the ride, so I told him the type of vehicles I drove, and he put me in another SUV that was definitely "my type of ride". He knew. I was so surprised, I was unsure as whether to purchase it that day, so I told him I wanted to think about it over the weekend. Not once did he give me the car salesman line "I have somebody else interested in that car" ... I went that weekend and looked around, but nothing compared for the money for all the extras I was getting in the car Darryl offered me. I called him Monday, said "I want that SUV is it still available?" He said yes, "congratulations I'm happy you decided on that auto, it's a great vehicle!" It was already 3pm, pouring torrential rain and I live about 50 mins. away. He said he would wait til I got there...or if I wanted to come the next day that it was no problem.(it was his day off) I told him no, I'm on my way now. I purchased the car. Daryl had all my paper work ready to sign when I arrived. No waiting for hours like in other dealerships. He was very professional, very personable, I felt like I knew him for years! He explained everything in detail. He got me the best finance rate he could, and I know that was true, because the other dealerships wanted a much higher rate. He "worked" for me, the customer. I am so happy I purchased my new SUV from Daryl., doctorpopper. I will be referring him to any one I come across that needs a vehicle and wants to trust their sales person. He gave me his cell and asked me to call before I arrived even though I warned him I'd be arriving after they closed that Saturday night. As soon as I arrived he was there to greet me and had the car waiting out front. I test drove the car and after 2 hours I didn't buy the car. I wanted to negotiate beyond what made sense for their business and completely understand. The guy was still super nice. It's as though he just liked meeting people or something. I think the guy works too hard, but if you want a car for an extremely fair, price, and someone who runs out on a cold and rainy November night in to do his job beyond what seems reasonable for any human, go there. I thought the guy was going to go get his shine box! I kid, he was extremely professional with A+ integrity and a sincere effort to connect. . More
