I would strongly caution anyone before doing business with Auto Export Pros. My Jeep was held for 56 days while I was told it was being repaired. After all that time, the issue still was not fixed. I with Auto Export Pros. My Jeep was held for 56 days while I was told it was being repaired. After all that time, the issue still was not fixed. I am now looking at spending approximately $4,500 to repair the Jeep properly because Auto Export Pros could not get the repair completed. The Jeep was taken to the dealer, and the dealer identified the repair direction. Auto Export Pros apparently did not like the dealer’s repair price, so instead of authorizing the proper repair, the Jeep was taken to another mechanic in Sanford. That mechanic also indicated the camshaft needed replacement, but Auto Export Pros refused to pay him to complete the repair. I was also told that parts had been ordered, but those parts were never actually ordered. Because of that, I was forced to order the parts myself. Auto Export Pros was supposed to reimburse me for that money, and they told my attorney they would return it. Instead of actually reimbursing me properly, Auto Export Pros tried to hand me an unsigned check. An unsigned check is not payment. It cannot be deposited, it cannot be cashed, and it does not resolve anything. After already failing to order the parts they claimed were ordered, handing me an unsigned check felt like one more attempt to avoid accountability. During the time Auto Export Pros had my Jeep, nearly 700 miles were put on the vehicle. That is not a reasonable test drive. I also received location alerts showing the Jeep was driven to Epcot and parked there for several hours 7pm to 1030pm, which had nothing to do with diagnosing or repairing the vehicle. After all of that, the Jeep was returned to me with an empty tank of gas. When I tried to recover my Jeep, Auto Export Pros attempted to make me sign a hold harmless agreement before releasing the vehicle. After holding my truck for 56 days, trying to force me to waive rights or claims before giving back my own vehicle was completely unacceptable. I also experienced a situation where I felt physically blocked in and prevented from simply leaving with my vehicle. After 56 days of my truck being held hostage, that was beyond unprofessional and felt intimidating. On top of everything else, items were missing from the glovebox of my Jeep. I cannot prove who took them, but they were in the vehicle before it was in their possession and were gone afterward. In my opinion, Auto Export Pros failed on communication, accountability, professionalism, and basic customer treatment. Holding a customer’s vehicle for nearly two months, failing to complete the repair, claiming parts were ordered when they were not, forcing me to order parts myself, failing to reimburse me with valid payment, putting nearly 900 miles on my Jeep, driving it to Epcot and parking it there for hours, returning it with an empty tank, trying to force a hold harmless agreement before release, and returning the vehicle with missing items is unacceptable. I would not recommend Auto Export Pros based on my experience. Document everything, get everything in writing, and be extremely cautious before trusting them with your money or your vehicle. More
