We visited the facility before this to test drive the vehicl We purchased a 2017 Nissan Murano from the Autocenters Nissan in Wood River on 6/19/2020. We visited the facility before this to test drive the vehicle and were impressed with the courtesy of all staff encountered. I had several phone conversations with Joe, and he was always professional. On the day we decided to purchase we were initially impressed with the service, until it came time to finalize the deal and complete the paperwork. I feel as though we were made to wait so that when it came time for us, we could easily be distracted because it was then after hours. This is when the salesperson became pushy and the finance guy shoved us through. Once we were finally able to speak with the financial advisor he spoke so fast, rushed the process and didn’t even follow through with the original deal. To make this easier I am outlining every issue we have had. - Financing and percentage rates were falsely advertised on the website and not available once you spoke with the salesperson. - We were told numerous times when an issue was brought up “What do you expect, it’s a used car?” - Our financing agreement was completely different than what we originally discussed. We had a lower rate and 5 year term and were given a higher rate with a longer term. - No one showed us how anything in the car worked, we were just sent out to connect our phones on our own. - There is a FEB (front end braking sensor) that has been going off, alerting me that I have been in a collision (I have not) that also disables my cruise control. I called about this, I was told I don’t have a warranty. THIS WAS AN ISSUE THAT WASN’T BROUGHT TO MY ATTENTION. I have been to a local dealer who says the front sensor and rod is completely damaged and not aligned causing it to malfunction. I am paying to have this replaced. - None of the filters had been changed. The air cabin filter looked like a rat had made a home in it. I have paid for all of these to be replaced. - We were missing floor mats. I have paid for this to be replaced. - The car was supposed to have around 9,000 miles on it, but one of the salespersons was driving it and racked up the miles before our purchase. He also didn’t bother to mention that there was a sensor failing. Needless to say, I am completely disappointed in all of the above, but what I am most disappointed in is that not all of the issues were disclosed. I would have NEVER made the purchase had we known there were so many issues. Just be honest, honesty goes a long way. More
Buyer beware of this place before you get excited about the false advertisement of deals. Watch the salesperson and finance manager. The finance manager Eric was very disrespectful, rude, and loud. Once I was able to see that they were trying to ask for a down payment and take me through a bank with a higher interest rate. Buyers when you have excellent credit you are offered the lowest interest rate. Well once I told him to run me somewhere else I got the rate that I was due based off my excellent credit. They are misleading, strong arm, and will bully you. They will lie, cheat and try to steal from you. I can't say that I am even happy with my purchase due to the xxxx poor service. The sales team is unapproachable, unprofessional, and money hungry even during a pandemic there is no respect. The salesmanager, or store manager doesn't care about how their team treats people and will also try to strong arm and bully you. They only cares about the deal and cheating people out of their money. BUYER BEWARE RUN AWAY from this place. Go to another Nissan dealer. The deal is nothing when the service sucks. I would not recommend this dealer or the sales staff. The bullying tactics are unethical, and unwarranted. Women take a strong man with you. Do not go in there alone!! More
Great car buying process Would have to say that buying my car from AutoCenters was really a great experience. We were able to get financing that fits our monthly budget. We hadn't bought a brand new car in a long, long time, but we were able to from AutoCenters without breaking the bank. Mason did a great job taking care of what we were asking for and Randy in finance was able to make the deal affordable for us. Thanks a lot to you all at AutoCenters. More

AWARD WINNING CUSTOMER SERVICE in the Service Department I went into the Service Department of the Nissan dealership located in Wood River Illinois Because my car was making some kind of crazy sound, but of I went into the Service Department of the Nissan dealership located in Wood River Illinois Because my car was making some kind of crazy sound, but of course it wasn't doing anything when I took it in to them the 1st time, so JP told me to bring it back in as soon as it starts to make the annoying sounds again and we'llget it taken care of. What do you know. the nextday the noise was back, I zoomed the car back down To Nissan and it was still making the noise when i got there, JP said he would get right on it and let me know what the problem was,... and that's exactly what he did, He had to order the part so he called me down there to pick up a loaner car, my car was finished andready to go by the next day and it's been running great and quietly every since. No Pay Off My initial sales person was great. However, it all went down hill from there. I went in to sit down with finance about purchasing a car. After talk My initial sales person was great. However, it all went down hill from there. I went in to sit down with finance about purchasing a car. After talks with the finance manager, I decided to talk with my wife about possibly leasing. It was late in the evening and she wasn't with me so I went home and we talked. Next day, I called the dealership back and told them that I was ready to come back in and complete the deal for a lease. The 'negotiation' that they expected me to accept, was that because I didn't finalize anything the night before, they would give me $1,000 less on my trade. Of course I did not accept this, as literally we are talking less than 24 hours later, and let them know that I would come back in and sign the deal for a lease as long as they gave me promised value on my trade. I was supposed to hear back...never did. A phone call and a text message to explain that I was good to go...with ZERO response. For some reason, they didn't want my business. I'm almost an 800 fico that makes more than enough money to qualify for the purchase let alone a lease payment. No Pay off, no response. I then went to St. Charles Nissan and got an awesome deal from an awesome salesman. It all worked out for me, but frankly the decision making from management probably needs to be looked at Nissan.
