It is very long story but I will try to make it as short as possible.
Currently, I have Infiniti Q50 and it is approaching the end of the contraction and truly interested in new lease for 2016 Maxima SR. I visited over 10 Nissan dealerships and leasing companies to get the best deal. However, this is the first time that I am writing about negative experience. No I can say THE WORST EXPERIENCE.
I got a lot of good offers from other dealerships and some of them were hard to believe it. On 2/10, I had an appointment in NJ and I saw one of the AutoEastern Nissan (Meadow Lands). I stopped by there and got a quote. The price started from MSRP but I told to sales person to start from invoice price so we could save the time. He showed me everything with paper(took the photo) that showing all information, such as invoice price, taxes, fees, rebates, and so on because I told him the numbers that I got from other dealerships. He suggested me fair deal instead of official deal (price on the paper starting from $458 but the lowest he could to was $280 with a little bit of down payment / He asked me to sign on the paper and brought to his sales manager. After that, he suggested me the counter offer), and his customer service was very nice.
The first impression of Auto Eastern Nissan was nice to me. On the same day on my way home(NY), I saw another Auto Eastern Nissan in Englewood. I just stopped by to ask their quote to increase the chance of making the best deal. Joe greeted me well, and there was no manager on the property so we couldn't talk about the numbers.
Today(2/12), I came to NJ to see my friend and finished work earlier than I expected so that I visited the dealership again. Joe was parking a car and I talked with another sales person about Q50(I brought a loaner car from Bayside Infiniti because I dropped my car to get a service) and seems to be nice.
Joe and me started to talk about deal and he was very nice to me before I told him about the numbers from other dealership. I explained him that some offers were hard to believe but it is very nice for a customer. Additionally, I told, "I know some of them will bump it up later". The lowest one that I got was $250 per month and I told him again that I don'trust the deal (because I am not a stupid customer who just believe it and sign it right away when a dealer saying, "this is the end of the day final and special chance"). He told me that he will show the real world and keep showing the MSRP so I told him that I always start from invoice price, but then he told me to forget about invoice price. What? There are numerous ways to do research before a customer visit a dealership, and nobody believe that the MSRP will be the final price. That thing was okay. He went to see his manager to get "The real number" according to him, but I heard that he was tracking the offer that I received from another Auto Eastern. I was just waiting to get a quote from this location. I clearly stated that the purpose for today was get your own quote NOT comparing or tracking my previous offer from other store. He made me remain sit for almost 30 minutes.
The worst part started after he came back from the office. He started to laugh and make fun of me. He said, "call me if you can make the deal with that price. I will buy it, too" and he made some sarcastic comments about the deal with his co-worker. They sarcastically commented, "Oh yeah, I will also buy it".
They don't need to make fun of me or the deal that I got from other locations.
Did you say you gonna show the real world??? You need know about your products before you work as a sales person. He seemed does not know Midnight version of SR trim and showed me the picture of SR but explained it has 20 inches wheel. Are you kidding me? It is 19 inches and any trim does not have 20 inches wheel.
Anyway, he made me very upset with 180 degrees different attitude toward to me and seems like he does not want to sell a car. If you cannot give better offer than competitors, that is it. YOU DON'T NEED TO SARCASTICALLY SAYING SOMETHING OR MAKE FUN OF A CUSTOMER WITH YOUR CO-WORKER.
I don't recommend to anyone this location. Don't wasted your time. Don't be ruined your day.
As you could see on Yelp, they don't really care for their customers and potential customer. This location must be shut down. I will contact to Nissan-Infiniti customer center as a current customer and potential customer who had loyalty for the brand..(loosing my loyalty because of this time).
Sorry for the broken English. I am not good at English and tried my best to explain my feeling and the worst experience.
Thank you all.
