Brian was very professional, Straight forward unlike some of the other dealer i went to. After a few failed negotiation from other dealer, i have almost given up on Acura. Brian really surprised me. As a current Acura owner, I went in to the dealership in Torrance just to see what was available in a small SUV. I had done some research online but wanted to get a real look at went in to the dealership in Torrance just to see what was available in a small SUV. I had done some research online but wanted to get a real look at the vehicle. Brian seemed to actually accept that I was still in the looking stage and did not put on that, "You need to buy right now, or you will lose a deal," speech. Instead he talked to me about the car, its advantages, and how, as a second Acura owner, they could take a good trade in on my current car. Before I knew it, I had purchased my car...and actually felt GOOD about it. Power Acura has always been a dealership where I feel comfortable. This is the second vehicle I have purchased from them. I've done this on my own, but each experience has left me with the feeling that I have made a good and informed decision. I recently moved to northern California. I know I will not find the same kind of professionalism up here at the local Acura dealer, so it is just possible that I will be making my maintenance trips back down to Torrance. I highly recommend Power Acura, and especially Brian Detz. He was professional, knowledgable, and respectful of the fact that a car purchase is a big decision. Picked up a low mileage pre-owned RDX at a very reasonable price and Power made the car immaculate at delivery. I wasnt set on an Acura until i opened the door of the new MDX. This was for sure my car. I had been looking at a few other dealerships trying to find the right car for me and it was just random to make a new MDX. This was for sure my car. I had been looking at a few other dealerships trying to find the right car for me and it was just random to make a stop there. Upon meeting Johnny I had mentioned i was interested in buying but i had to get the financial part figurered out. I had a car to sell before I could drive my MDX home. He assured me im sure you have great credit and you'll be fine..I chose the car, made a game plan to ditch the old car, decided on a lease and I told him i would be back in a few days. I came back on a friday around lunch time and didnt end up leaving until almost 10pm. It turns out because I had never had a car loan in just my name- even with good credit- I needed a co-signer. This would have been very helpful to know ahead of time or to have had my credit run on the first visit, especially because i was so willing and wanted the whole exerience to go smoothly. By the time I was able to get my co-signer to the dealership 3 people had gotten in front of me in the line to get to Finance..This was my only complaint, had I known earlier I could have been out of there hours earlier. Overall Johnny was great and I would go back there again.. More

I purchased my Acura TL through my credit union which worked directly with Brian Detz of So Bay Acura in Torrance. I had worked many years ago with an Acura dealer who was the exact opposite of Brian an worked directly with Brian Detz of So Bay Acura in Torrance. I had worked many years ago with an Acura dealer who was the exact opposite of Brian and South Bay Acura. What a refreshing, fun experience: quick prep of the remaining items which needed to be done on my new car, wonderful explanation of the very advanced technology, and directions to five great restaurants within walking distance while the Service department finished the car's preps. Although this dealership is a long way away, when it is time to have my new TL serviced, I will make the trip to Torrance knowing I will get the best customer service. Thanks so much! My husband and I walked into this dealership 5/23/12. We had been car shopping all day without success. This experience just made it worse! We walked into the showroom. There were several employees milling about and talking. We looked at all the cars, stopping at one. Opening doors, and peering into the back of the car. NOT ONE PERSON CAME OVER TO ASK IF WE NEEDED HELP. After about 10 min in the dealership we walked by the "group of employees" and they just stood there. WE WALKED OUT. This is actually the 2nd time a Power dealership has ruined a fun experience. NEVER GO TO A POWER DEALERSHIP!!!! More
Nadeem was extremely friendly, helpful and responsive to all questions and needs of my wife and I. We were shopping around with dealerships in San Diego( where we live) and could not find any acura dealers all questions and needs of my wife and I. Anytime I had a question Nadeem would immediately respond and help answer anything asked. Even after the purchase Nadeem took the time to show the car over, and review how to set up all the accessories. We drove 100 + miles to this dealership and we are sold for good on the service they provided. The finance manager Chase is also awesome and helpful! This is a no pressure dealership and they really care about how the customer feels. More
