Scheduled an appointment for 2 weeks out to have the diagnostic run on the check engine light. We dropped it off the night before for our Wednesday appt - we heard nothing by the afternoon so WE had to diagnostic run on the check engine light. They had not run the test and their bays were full and the excuse we got was the tech was out sick and they are short handed. Why schedule an appointment then. They said they could fit us in on Monday - "was that okay to leave our vehicle and wait until then." No it's not we had an appointment. It was excuse after exuse. The tech had to get approval from the manager for us to pick it up. That was unheard of since it is our car. Very disappointed in the service since we bought the vehicle there in 2012 (actually bought 2 at the same time) and have all previous work done there. When we picked it up our vehicle not an apology or anything. Never again will we use GMC or purchase from them. More

i was greeted promptly, &listened to. But the 1 concern i had was not addressed. The defrost button sticks/will not turn on. Encore had 120,000 miles and needed service work. They changed my oil and charged me $70. Sticker in my window shows my oil had just been changed a few weeks earlier. The person at the check out desk laughed and said it was only 1,100 miles difference. NOT funny! New windshield wipers, I had just replaced them and charged me $40. Never called and asked me about these services. I did need a transmission fluid change, they didn't do it. Kept my car for 6 and half hours for services it didn't need and charges I shouldn't have had to pay for. Poor customer service! Won't ever use this dealership again! More

Made an appt for mainly a weird new sound my car suddenly started making and was randomly idling hard. While I was making the appt, I said I also wanted to do my 40,000 mile service, as well as get my recall started making and was randomly idling hard. While I was making the appt, I said I also wanted to do my 40,000 mile service, as well as get my recall taken care of that was set out in regards to oil overusage. I made an early appt to drop my car off and leave it there all day. When I called later that afternoon looking for status, I was told that my car was ready to go. Once I got there, I was informed that the only service they did on my car was an oil change. The tech at the desk - Harry - said that they weren't able to figure out what the noise coming from my car was because they weren't familiar with a Jeep engine. (I called AutoNation Buick GMC West prior to making an appt to ask if a Jeep could be serviced here, and was assured that it would be no problem.) So not only was I lied to (by either the person on the phone saying they could fix my Jeep OR the tech telling me they weren't able to diagnose my Jeep), but they also didn't do anything that I even set my appt up for. Had I know they were just going to do an oil change instead of the 40,000 mile service that I asked for, I wouldn't have taking it to an AutoNation for just an oil change. They also didn't even mention the oil issue recall when I picked up my car. I told them on the phone, and when I dropped my car off that I needed that taken care of while I was here. It was in my email confirmation and on the paperwork the techs had. But they chose not to pay attention to it. So now not only do I have to make another appt to get my 40,000 mile service and get a recall fixed, I just paid over $70 for an oil change alone that I did not need. Will not ever go to this AutoNation service dept again. Terrible service and no communication. More
