I recently purchased a used 2016 Jeep Patriot from Superstition Springs Chevrolet, and unfortunately, my experience has been very disappointing. At first glance, the vehicle looked great, which is Superstition Springs Chevrolet, and unfortunately, my experience has been very disappointing. At first glance, the vehicle looked great, which is why I felt comfortable moving forward with the purchase. However, almost immediately after driving it, multiple issues began to surface. The motor mounts appear to be bad, causing the engine to vibrate noticeably. The A/C system short cycles, making it unreliable, especially in the Arizona heat. The exterior mirror control is broken, and the driver’s door seal is damaged—it's torn and partially hanging loose. Additionally, the Bluetooth system does not function properly, and it still has previous owners registered with no way to remove them. Given the size and reputation of this dealership, I would not have expected a vehicle with this many issues to be placed on their lot for sale, even “as-is.” While I understand that buying a used vehicle comes with risks, this feels like a lack of basic inspection and quality control. I’ve since had to place the vehicle at a consignment lot and am hoping to sell it, even though I know I will be taking a financial loss. This has turned out to be a very poor financial decision on my part. Buyers should proceed with caution and thoroughly inspect any vehicle before purchasing. Buyer beware. More
