Arrived at dealer at 8am. Kirk called in sick and it seemed to me that Thomas had to cover both jobs. My car had a rattle in the lower carriage. Seems to me if you have an appointment the technician should be ready to look at your vehicle. 3 hours later, Thomas informed me that a bracket broke off a exhaust pipe. He needed to check if my work would be covered under warranty. At 11am Thomas informed me this work would not be covered under warranty. The exhaust pipe could not be found in GM’s stock but one part store has it but he didn’t know if they would sell it to AutoNation. Now 11:30, Thomas let’s me know the pipe will be delivered to him on Friday. He would call me when he receives the pipe and let me know when they could install it. As of Friday at 4:30 no call. At 12:27 my car was ready. Thomas seemed very knowledgeable and was very pleasant. I think he was just extra busy. Inspection, pipe and installation came to $681. The price seems high to me, but the process seemed very long for a my car issue. Thomas informed me that when I bring the car back the exhaust will need to cool. I will bring it to the dealer two hours prior the appointment. I hope they will have a tech ready to wok on it. More

I bought an equinox, leased a Malibu and then bought a Malibu my experience with the sales team has been great. Didn't have a very good experience with one Finance person, don't remember his name, other than that my experience has been great at your dealership. More

I am frustrated and dissatisfied with Autonation's processes respect for their customers and their time. I have had multiple occasions where I take my C8 Corvette in for an APPOINTMENT for work that s processes respect for their customers and their time. I have had multiple occasions where I take my C8 Corvette in for an APPOINTMENT for work that should only take several hours or even a day (oil change for example) on Monday and after not hearing anything calling later in the week to find out it hadn't been started! After several iterations of this I went to Service Management and was told bluntly and appointment is not a commitment for them to start work but a planning tool for them to know it was there for work?? Did I expect them to have technicians waiting around for my car to come? I have NEVER heard of a dealer taking this approach. In good faith I make an appt vs drop off hoping to minimize my lack of vehicle (they do NOT offer loaners) and they treat it/me as catch as catch can? This issue got so bad I wrote I wrote to the General Manager (who has a 4ft tall placard on the sales flor saying to contact him if not completely satsified). and told him all of my concerns with examples. The respoonse was the service advisor calling me and saying the GM said I wanted to talk to him and not knowing why? Also, I have a c8 Corvette and needed an alignment. Two years AFTER the C8 was released they STILL did not have the capability to do abn alignement as they didn't have the tools. And $80K car you cant align? I just had my last service with them and will NEVER go back BASED ON THEIR MANAGEMENT practices. I believe the Service Advisor is doing the best he can under the rules he has to follow and I have NO ISSUE with techs once it gets to them. More
