I brought my car in to have the battery replaced and requested a quote for a faulty tire pressure sensor. I was informed that the wait time would be approximately two hours. I expected to receive an est requested a quote for a faulty tire pressure sensor. I was informed that the wait time would be approximately two hours. I expected to receive an estimate of the final costs before any work was completed. After waiting for over an hour, I received a text message with a video showing some part of my car and a note indicating they would review it with me; however, no one came to speak with me. After more than two hours, I inquired about my car to one of the other service managers and was informed my car was ready. Really? How much did this cost and why didn’t you tell me before you did the work? Turns out the battery was under warranty, and I only had to pay the labor charge which was $49 (I still would have liked to have been informed before the work was completed). The tire pressure sensor was just a little different. After I was told my car was ready, my service manager showed up and said, something about the tire pressure monitor. I asked about the costs for that and was told $190, which I declined. I wondered if they had planned on doing this work without my consent. I may never know. While driving home, I noticed that all of my tire pressure sensors were no longer functioning. I called twice and left messages for my service manager to find out what had happened. After several hours without a response, I decided to return to the dealership. Upon arrival, it was discovered that the diagnostic test they conducted on my tire pressure sensors had set them all into training mode. (note: I did not ask them to run a diagnostic, I just asked for quote). I was told the sensors would not work again until the faulty sensor was replaced. I was not happy; I had three working sensors when I arrived and all I had requested was a quote. Ultimately, the dealership did resolve the issue by replacing the defective sensor at no cost. Thank you. Why 2 stars: LACK OF COMMUNICATION! I expected them to diagnose the battery issue and inform me if it was bad and what the costs would be before doing any work. Similarly, they should never have conducted a diagnostic test on the tire pressure sensor when we already knew it was faulty. My request was solely to obtain a quote for its replacement. They need to improve how they communicate with their customers. Unfortunately, even though they made things right in the end. The video they sent about the other issue with my car will be repaired at another dealership. More
My experience at AUTONATION CHEVROLET MESA ARIZONA was second to none. I went and got the truck I wanted since I was a kid. Not only did they physically have the truck, they got me approved for the truck. second to none. I went and got the truck I wanted since I was a kid. Not only did they physically have the truck, they got me approved for the truck. I was told after the sale if I need anything to not hesitate to call. Everyone says that right. Well I needed to bring the truck back in for a service need. Not only was the service fast and top tier quality but because I just bought the truck. It was on the house. I can genuinely say I am very satisfied I am an every day human being who lives in the same world as everyone who reads this. Yup we all know life can be hard but autonation really made me feel good at ease and taken care of. These day that tops any other need you can have. You can get a vehicle anywhere in the world but are you actually going to be taken care of. Are you actually going to feel the integrity of the sale. If you go where I did you will. Thanks for reading. More
