First visit to Autonation service department was great. Second visit was absolutely terrible. My 2500hd trucks rear brakes seized up and I had a minor leak in my truck where my pedals are. Took the truck Second visit was absolutely terrible. My 2500hd trucks rear brakes seized up and I had a minor leak in my truck where my pedals are. Took the truck in and told yudi ( she was great ) to fix my brakes and the leak. Told her my dash also has a low air pressure light if they can fix this aswell so that I will have no light in my dash. So I drop off my truck for the estimate. Apparently it’s a Holliday weekend and NO one has any rental cars available. I finally find a truck at uhaul but they only have available lift for 2 days so I eventually end up having to swap the truck out for a van. ( none of this is Autonation fault) well I get a call from yudi stating that my truc will be around 3,400 to repair. I say ok go for it. About 4-5 days later I get a call my truck is ready. So I drop off the uhaul and take an Uber to the dealer. When I arrive and pay. I turn on truck and realize the dash now has a ‘check trailer brake system’ light on the dash. I mention to yudi amd she calls the mechanic (Jason) to explain to me. I tell him that’s new and he rudely tells me that it has nothing to do with what he did. Ok I leave. A few days later I put a scanner on my truck. Gives me a code, code says it’s a sensor located at the brake pedal. So I go down to look at the sensor. One of the cables for the plug has been ripped off the plug. That wasn’t me. I go back to dealer and I see Jason in the lobby and tell him about it and he immediately tells me it’s got nothing to do with his work and the ONLY sensor he touched was the one on the brake pedal. (Which is the one that is broken) so now I’m wasting my time again at the dealer. Next day I’m taking truck in so that they can see what is wrong with it and confirm it was the dealers fault. In the morning I notice there is oil in my driveway. So that’s a new issue as I didn’t have oil there before . I drop off truck and the service manager loans me a car. (This is Atleast my third visit) next day yudi calls me and tells me that the repair will cost x amount of money because none of it was the dealers fault! So almost 3500.00 for what? How is the plug not your fault and the leak on the part that was just replaced also bot your fault? I take Danny to my truck to explain to him and he sees the hose that connects to the replaced part is also leaking and his response IN MY 30 YRS EXPERIENCE I KNOW THAT HOSE WAS LEAKING BEFORE. if that is the case then Why was in not changed out??? Why do I have to come 4 or 5 x here and argue with you??? In the end they fixed the plug that they broke and made me pay for the part (hose) that they didn’t replace the first time. Jason and Danny (manager) completely ruined the Autonation experience for me. Thousands of dollars for a ton of headaches. Thank you fellas for wasting my time. And completely brushing me off as a liar. More
DO NOT COME HERE! I had an appointment for 11:20. Showed up and waited until 2:56. Ask my assigned service rep Armando how much longer will it be and he then decides to tell me that my car hasn’t even been up and waited until 2:56. Ask my assigned service rep Armando how much longer will it be and he then decides to tell me that my car hasn’t even been looked at. I immediately told them to cancel my services and will be taking my business elsewhere. I highly suggest you do the same. More
Horrible experience with service department!!! Just to preface, I have had Chevrolet cars since I started driving. I have had 3 camaros, driving one now, a Monte Carlo, and a Malibu., and just helped my d preface, I have had Chevrolet cars since I started driving. I have had 3 camaros, driving one now, a Monte Carlo, and a Malibu., and just helped my daughter buy a Chevrolet Equinox. My current vehicle is a 2010 Camaro in mint condition. My issue was the key fobs were broken. All of them. I bought 2 key fobs online and brought them to the dealership to pay to program them. The service advisor "Debbie" said that she didn't believe they would work. I said, "let's try and if not i guess I will have to buy one." She then told me I would have to pay 99.00 even of it did not work, plus the cost of buying a new key fob and new programming. I asked to speak to a manager to discuss the issue. She then told me he was in a meeting and she would call me later to see if could waive the fee. The reality is i have been buying Chevrolet cars since I was a teenager. I think they could waive a programming fee on a key fob knowing that I am due for a new car very soon and just purchased one with my daughter this year. Not a smart business decision. I guess I will look at Toyota. More

I felt I was a "number", another vehicle/owner. Even when the personnel tries to "make it special" it is not, here's my two cents: I requested to wash & vacuum my vehicle and the answer is that the dealer st the personnel tries to "make it special" it is not, here's my two cents: I requested to wash & vacuum my vehicle and the answer is that the dealer stopped doing it because they received a bad review from a customer. So the rational is, if does not contribute to a good rate, eliminate it!!. I even ask to pay for it but no, they don't do it. I brought my vehicle for a 25K miles revision and they only changed the oil, no explanation on the rest. They noted on the inspection document that the tires where halfway through and I asked the service rep, how come a vehicle with 25K has a tires with a life expectancy on 50k? did I buy a car from you with 50K tires? and the answer was "it is because it's florida" the tires don't last !! that means that you sell vehicles in Florida that has tires that won't last more than 50K miles and say nothing to the potential customer? this is a misleading sale or something is wrong. Again, did not feel anything special from the dealership even though it has it all to be great. More
Service dept doesn't want your business I have friends and family that work at other Autonation dealerships, so I guess you can say I've had experience with how a service dept is supposed to I have friends and family that work at other Autonation dealerships, so I guess you can say I've had experience with how a service dept is supposed to be run. This one is one of the worst I have ever seen! First off they don't have greeters, I literally stood around for 10 mins before anyone even acknowledged that I was there. And I had an appointment to boot. Then once greeted, they didn't really help, all they did was point out the desk of the representative that was supposed to help me. So I waited another ten minutes and nothing. He never came back to his desk, and he already had another client patiently waiting for him to return in his office. Suffice to say I got pissed and left. Whenever I've had my vehicles serviced at Autonation Honda on 441, I've never had to wait more than a minute before someone acknowledged me and took my info. It's sad to see that this dealership's service dept is run so poorly. If I wanted this kind of service I'd go to a service dept in Hialeah. Now since I purchased a service contract for my Colorado, I'll have to see if the Honda dealership can take care of me instead, if not then I guess I'll have to go to a different Autonation Chevy dealership in the area. I hear good things about the one in Doral, so maybe I'll go there instead. Sucks though, I literally live across the street from the one in Pembroke Pines, but due to the lack of service they offer, I'll gladly drive the extra miles to get the level of service I expect from an Autonation Service department. Oh and don't bother giving me the canned response of giving me the phone number of your GM. I'm not interested in talking to anyone. You've lost my business, fix your service dept instead. It's sad that your own employees at other Autonation dealers all know and comment about how poorly you guys are run. More
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR SERVICE DEPARTMENT I had an appointment this past saturday (12/28/19) at 7:00 am, the advisor name is ANTHONY AVENI JR. I was 2 weeks ago for my car (Chevrolet Traverse I had an appointment this past saturday (12/28/19) at 7:00 am, the advisor name is ANTHONY AVENI JR. I was 2 weeks ago for my car (Chevrolet Traverse 2019) for a problem with the Sun shade (didn't shut) he told me they are going to called me and never happen, I had to called myself to get my second appointment, this saturday my car was parking for 3 hours when I saw my car parked I went to Anthony and he told me the service department didn't do nothing (I don't KNOW what kind of technician they have that didn't know what part to order, I was there for 3 hours and was a lost time. The service advisor didn't care about me as customer since the first time we met. My experience buying this car was awesome but my experience in the service department was the worst I ever had. I had before excellent experience with Acura and Jeep. but now I can tell the same with Chevrolet. More
Bad diagnosis every time I go there I don’t know why these companies even offer a warranty if their “mechanics “ can’t even properly diagnose a vehicle. Or maybe they just BS everyone so I don’t know why these companies even offer a warranty if their “mechanics “ can’t even properly diagnose a vehicle. Or maybe they just BS everyone so that they don’t have to do the work or so the company doesn’t have to pay for the work. I took my 2015 Camero to them when it was under warranty 2 times. The fist time it was due to a hissing noise I hear under the dash in the passenger side, they diagnosed it and the mechanic said that this noise was normal to the Camero, which I found extremely weird but put my trust in it cause he’s a mechanic and I assumed he knew what he was doing. He even went as far as saying that I should try driving my car under 2500 rpms so that I don’t hear the noise any more, in other words don’t drive your sports car like a sports car. But like I said I took his word for it and I’ve been blocking out the noise cause the mechanic said it’s normal. There was no charge this day but nothing was fixed still gives me the noise when I accelerate the car. The second time I had to take them the car is cause it was giving me trouble starting and the dash would say maintenance security system. Still under warranty by the way, they took the car into diagnostics and the mechanic had the service tech call me to inform me that the reason the car all of a sudden started doing that was cause I put after market light bulbs in the car. ( by the way, I replaces the light bulbs with Autozone light bulbs 2years prior when one of them went out). So they are telling me that the light bulbs that I put in 2years ago are affecting my system now. Total BS. So I asked them how they fix that and they said we can replace you 2 light bulbs on your head lights for approximately $300.00, so I refused that service like anyone would so they instructed me to go pick up the car. When I arrived at the dealership they informed me that to release the car to me I would have to pay $180.00 diagnostics fee so that I can take the car. I didn’t want any trouble that day so I payed and left, but while I was outraged I took the car to a local mechanic by my house, he proceeded to find a loose ground cable on the chassis of the car and also found out that the reason it makes that hissing noise is due to an exhaust leak. So then finally coming to my conclusion that this dealership is only interested in helping the customers willing to fall for their trickery and pay them for BS fix’s. And if there are any decent management left in their company they would contact me and refund me for the $180.00 that they charged me for a mechanic that doesn’t know the difference between a wrench and a screwdriver to diagnose my car.
