This was by far the WORST dealership experience I’ve ever had. I worked with Alan Savage and sales manager Mario Quezada. They advertise a great price online just to lure you in—but once you arrive, they tac had. I worked with Alan Savage and sales manager Mario Quezada. They advertise a great price online just to lure you in—but once you arrive, they tack on over $2,000 in bogus add-ons. I drove in from San Antonio (a 3-hour drive one way), only to be met with charges for things the vehicle didn’t even have—like $395 for window tint and wheel locks, $495 for a bedliner, $749 for appearance protection, and another $749 for dent protection. The truck I came to see didn’t even have window tint or a bedliner! To make matters worse, they severely undervalued my trade-in. They offered me $30,000 for a truck I had appraised at $35,000 in San Antonio. When I asked if they could do better, the manager got defensive and said, “You’re not going to make me buy your car.” I never asked them to—just to be fair. I even showed them JD Power values (used by lenders), and they dismissed it, saying, “JD Power doesn’t buy cars.” One of the other managers then said they’d be listing my truck for $38,900. I said, “Really? So you’re trying to make $8,900 off of me?” And Mario responded, “Yes. This is a for-profit business and we’re trying to make money.” So not only did they want to make nearly $9,000 off the trade, they also tried to add $2,388 in extra charges for features the truck didn’t even have. That’s over $11,000 in profit—off just me. When I wouldn’t accept their lowball offer, they tried to remove my trade from the deal but still expected me to buy their vehicle. I followed up several times afterward to see if they’d be willing to work with me, but they never returned a single call or email. This dealership—and the way Alan Savage and Mario Quezada handled things—is exactly why people HATE the car-buying experience. All I wanted was a fair deal, and I was willing to work with them. A missing &1600 interior cargo cover and $500 key. None of this was disclosed prior to purchase or shipping. When asked to make it right they dodged phone calls and told me it was my problem. This is worse than 0 out of 10 this was intentional deception and negligence. More
