The WORST customer service experience I've ever had anywhere hands down and the reason I will never be a client at AutoNation again. High level: Management is terrible and non-responsive, they have a anywhere hands down and the reason I will never be a client at AutoNation again. High level: Management is terrible and non-responsive, they have a virtual shake-down system by text to up-sell you to ensure each visit is more money for overinflated services compared to any other shop in the market (true price gouging at AutoNation), I was lied to more than once and received contradictory information about what was wrong with my vehicle because the left and right hand do not talk to one another which wasted 3 days of my life. The details: Brought my Jeep in for routine 30k maintenance which was $1300. High but they know my car and I thought it would be done right. Not the case. Of course their up-sell generated another "3k in services" I didn't do (new brakes, engine reconditioning, and other things that after taking to another shop I was told it was not necessary and certainly not "urgent) most of which were rated as "urgent" (they manipulate customers into thinking there's danger or threat to safety and/or the engine warranty) and was told my batteries were "good". As I was driving off the lot, my voltage lights went off and there were all kinds of electrical issues with the car that were not a problem a day prior as evidenced by the techs report clearing the voltage system. A customer service manager was there, looked at the car with a tech and said to me, "no problem; the batteries need to be changed out; bring it in first thing in the morning and we will do that for you". Despite paying to have the batteries checked and cleared as "good", now they need to be replaced? Next day, cleared my schedule to deal with this situation losing income from my business and got stonewalled all day. After multiple calls and texts with no response, I get another "up-sell text" from their shake down system this time saying I need to pay another $1300 to change the batteries I was told my a manager would be changed out for me complimentary since they missed it big time. That's right... $1300 for a battery change out. Finally got a hold of someone and an entirely different story unfolds. I texted (no call back still) all day with their service department who claimed they were "trying to get a hold of a manager" (which never happened; apparently their managers are too busy to actually speak with and help customers) Now, they are not going to change it out claiming the warranty is a month old (told me they were going to request an exception because of what I was told and that never happened either - another lie) and they are not going to honor what the service manager told me. They closed before I could pick it up and I was once again without my vehicle going on day 3 of this xxxx show. I never received a call back or text from the manager who promised me they would remedy the situation (I called and texted with no response) and when I pressed the service technician on what the xxxx was happening he offered that the manager was now changing his story claiming he did not say what he told me. Lie number three. This is a very poorly run organization, that engages in predatory pricing and systemic up-sells that exploit customers. Management is unresponsive, lacks integrity and know NOTHING about customer service, only how to upsell people on more services for their corporate masters. Took the vehicle to Firestone - brakes are fine as is the other few items they wanted to charge thousands for and the battery (both of them) are changed out for $575 from honest people who worked hard to earn my business. I will call out Kahled who attempted to be as helpful as a broken system could. He sounded embarrassed at the mixed message, terrible service, incorrect information I was given about the condition of my car and the fact I was lied to by management who hid under their desks and never had the decency respect or courage to confront me and tell me the truth. They do not replace the oil filter—I marked mine before service, and after the "oil change," the same marked filter was still on the car. When I came back to address this with my service advisor, he got service, and after the "oil change," the same marked filter was still on the car. When I came back to address this with my service advisor, he got defensive and walked away instead of helping. I remained calm and polite the whole time, but I received no apology or explanation from anyone. . This level of service is completely unprofessional. Stay away from this place. After being promised vehicle turnaround of 5 days, the dealer needed more time and nothing was ever done to repair the vehicle. I asked for the truck to be returned and have decided to go elsewhere where dealer needed more time and nothing was ever done to repair the vehicle. Autonation Dodge in Pembroke Pines was eager to sell me the car but that enthusiasm is not existent when it comes to their service department. They absolutely suck! Calls nor texts get returned. Several t the car but that enthusiasm is not existent when it comes to their service department. They absolutely suck! Calls nor texts get returned. Several times I was told the manager (Tomas Llorna) would get in contact with me and four days later I'm still waiting. I had to get a ride to go in person to the service department only to be told the technician is still working on the diagnostic. Why couldn't the manager or service person (Luis) call me to tell me this? This location (probably others too) needs a tune up on how to deal with customers. Next time I'll take my chances with other places. Very disappointing 😞 More
On the morning of 6/2/25, I visited AutoNation Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Pembroke Pines to have my Jeep checked because my windshield wipers suddenly stopped working. I explained the situation to the service Dodge Jeep Ram Pembroke Pines to have my Jeep checked because my windshield wipers suddenly stopped working. I explained the situation to the service provider, Lee Henry. Without conducting any diagnostic testing or having a technician inspect my vehicle, he told me that the entire windshield wiper system needed to be replaced. He then took me to the parts department, where I was given an estimate of $1,500. When I questioned why no one was attempting to properly diagnose the problem, I was told that if I didn’t want to pay that amount, I should consider trading in my car. I made it clear that I had no interest in trading in my vehicle, but Lee continued by saying that once this part goes bad, "other things start to go too." I left extremely upset and stressed, especially since it was raining and I had to drive home with limited visibility. Thankfully, after speaking with friends, I was advised to take my Jeep to a trusted local mechanic. Within 10 minutes, they identified the issue—it was *not* the entire wiper system. The problem was simply that the knob controlling the wipers had come loose, likely from a recent car wash. They tightened it on the spot—at no charge—and my wipers worked perfectly. It’s incredibly disappointing to know that AutoNation Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram tried to charge me $1,500 for unnecessary repairs. Worse, I was pressured to trade in my car based on a completely false assessment. It makes me wonder how many other customers have been taken advantage of in this way. This experience was unacceptable. Times are hard enough financially for many people, and deceptive practices like this only make it worse. I will never return to this dealership for service or purchase, and I strongly encourage others to approach with caution. **Let the buyer beware.** . More

I recommend nobody purchase an extended warranty at this dealership. If you look at the Yelp reviews there are dozens of people who have been taken advantage of and now I am one of them. My vehicle has be dealership. If you look at the Yelp reviews there are dozens of people who have been taken advantage of and now I am one of them. My vehicle has been there for 11 days even though they gave me an appointment to have the vehicle inspected. They have failed to even diagnose the problem telling me they are "too busy". Now I am left in limbo and w car that I can't use and no response. Essentially they have kidnapped my car that is a beautiful 2020 Pacifica with only 22K miles on it. I am considering taking legal action for breach of contract. But I wanted everyone to know, the warranty is a scam. More
I did not buy my vehicle here. I took my car here for warranted service. I was disappointed and very frustrated with the service department. The biggest issue was they would not re I took my car here for warranted service. I was disappointed and very frustrated with the service department. The biggest issue was they would not respond to my calls for a status of my vehicle. When my vehicle wouldn't start, I called and made arrangements for service then had the vehicle towed to the service department. I called to find out if they received the vehicle and they did. It was a few days before Christmas so they said it would take about a week to do the diagnosis since they had employees on holiday leave. I was OK with that but it was closer to 10 days. When diagnosed they said it would take 2-3 weeks for the part. I was OK with that too since I have an older vehicle. After 2 1/2 weeks I began to call for a status. It took several days of me calling them to get a response. I called 3 days in a row with no answer and no response to the voice mails I left. I drove up to the facility to ask in person. The first service adviser told me he had 70 cars he was dealing with and the service advisor assigned to me would be back in a few minutes. When my service advisor came back he said they discovered a fuel line leak and were waiting for approval from the warranty company. I asked why they didn't respond to my call and tell me that. I called the warranty company when I went home and they told me they had actually approved the repair 3 days before my call. My vehicle was there for almost 2 months. I understand that there were some delay for parts, but the calls of mine that were not returned and indifference to customer service is totally unacceptable. When the vehicle was done, it was running. After I took it home, and it sat for several hours, it had the same issue as when I took it in, it would not start. Since we were planning to drive to Maryland within a few days of me getting the vehicle back, I did not take it back to AutoNation. I was able to get the car started and did not turn it off till I dropped it off to a Dodge dealer service shop in Maryland who ultimately fixed the vehicle. Long story, but I would certainly never purchase a vehicle from AutoNation and be subject to poor after-purchase service. More
