Had to take it in twice. First time charged 650 for throttle part and they claimed it wasn’t under warranty. The exact same thing happened later that night. Really unsafe to First time charged 650 for throttle part and they claimed it wasn’t under warranty. The exact same thing happened later that night. Really unsafe to give it back with this stall out issue. The second time it was covered which it probably was all along and I paid 650 for nothing. More
The actual car service performed was standard. 4 stars for that. My only complaint on service side was I told it would take two days but they acknowledged they didn’t even look at the vehicle unti 4 stars for that. My only complaint on service side was I told it would take two days but they acknowledged they didn’t even look at the vehicle until the morning of day two and then had to order parts making it three days. The attitude of one staff members is enough to make going back not worth dealing with his arrogant attitude. So, 1 star for Alec (Alexander) in the Service Dept who has an attitude that needs adjustment and he should not be on the customer facing side until that occurs. When he with an update called and then texted “This is Alec from Jeep! We looked over the vehicle. Ordered parts... they will be here tomorrow - Alexander”. That’s it. So I called to see if we were still on track and when to plan for getting the car back. Immediately he had an attitude. Told me in his best irritated and condescending voice “I left you a detailed message” (it had not come through yet from the AT&T so I didn’t have a message yet). The ‘detailed VM’ I later listened to when it came through and all that was mentioned was about one of four things actually being looked at with no explanation other than a part was ordered, there was no mention of what issue this correlating part was for. So, not having this “not so detailed info” yet anyway as it was the VM which had not come through, I asked when I called about what they found (it was in for an oil change, some recalls, and a few other things), and get grumbled about having to go back to the computer to see because he already walked away from it and said… “I wasn’t expecting to be GRILLED”. I guess asking what they found was wrong was grilling to him. Lol (His idea of grilling, any consumers idea of a normal question). When I called the next day to see if it would be done by end of day so I could make arrangements I got the same irritated, put out attitude with “we already left a message”. If you have that big of a chip on your shoulder when a customer calls (regardless if you texted or left a VM) , you shouldn’t be customer facing or the one making those call outs. Dealing with Alec is unimpressive. When I hung up I actually laughed at the immaturity of his attitude. The nerve of me wanting to know what issues they found with my vehicle. Lol. Hopefully management takes not and corrects course. More
The sales and service departments really try to make what you are asking for. Customer satisfaction is their goal and responsibility for everyone. you are asking for. Customer satisfaction is their goal and responsibility for everyone. More
the good things I have to say is on how helpful the salesperson and his manager were in working with someone who lived across town by using Lyft for transporting me, letting my stepdaughter pickup the salesperson and his manager were in working with someone who lived across town by using Lyft for transporting me, letting my stepdaughter pickup the car and by driving up here to pick up the car. I also appreciate working with me on the warranty. However, one concern I have was that neither the salesperson nor the manager were aware that the vehicle already had a 5 year warranty and tried to sell me a warranty for stuff that was already covered by the manufacturer. I feel that they should already have known this. However, the manager did change things so that it was worth buying. I also found stressful the insistence on the proof of insurance although it wasn't legally necessary. And I did provide proof of insurance for the existing car that I own However, I do not blame the people I worked with for this but company policy, and my own insurance company website not updating properly. Typical car dealer interaction, no better or worse than the rest. They essentially tell you the MSRP is as good as they can do, because the "fees" are mandated by the state. the rest. They essentially tell you the MSRP is as good as they can do, because the "fees" are mandated by the state. More
I always dread buying a used car, and never feel like I can trust that I know what I'm getting. After discussing my concerns, I was referred here by an AutoNation employee with the promise that their team can trust that I know what I'm getting. After discussing my concerns, I was referred here by an AutoNation employee with the promise that their team would be honest, ethical and that I would find a great used car. I was specific in my ask and was shown a low-miles Grand Cherokee in beautiful condition- exactly what I was looking for! I received top-dollar for my trade-in, and the purchasing process was efficient, thorough, and low-pressure. It started hailing during my visit, and my salesperson even pulled my new car into the service drive to prevent any damage! Kudos to the entire Arapahoe team, but especially to RJ Barnes, Destiny Buerge, Chris Jackson, and Eric Absher for a top-notch experience. Thank you! More
