My wrangler has to be towed in on a Thursday. They called me first thing Friday morning to discuss next steps. They fixed everything up and had my car back to me by Tuesday afternoon. We made an appointment for a check engine light on one week in advance. I was very specific to tell the agent on the phone that we would wait for the vehicle. When I arrived, the service department rep informed me they would have to keep the vehicle- They kept my vehicle hostage for 3 days. I will never go back. Very disappointing for Jeep. Due to a factory recall card concerning a possible software update for excess oil consumption I received in the mail and a brief "Low Oil Pressure" warning message on my dashboard, I made an appointme software update for excess oil consumption I received in the mail and a brief "Low Oil Pressure" warning message on my dashboard, I made an appointment for 29Sep (Invoice 1009026, Tag #2084, Customer # 6049462) to get service for this recall item. I had to rent a car so that I could leave my car all day. When I picked up my car, the invoice claimed: "Updated PCM and inspected dip stick for oil consumption no problem found". When I got home, the warning message appeared again and I checked the dip stick. There was NO oil on the stick - showing that the car was VERY low on oil and, most importantly, the mechanic obviously did NOT check the dip stick! I therefore put 2 1/2 quarts of oil in the car at my own expense. This false claim by your company severely impacts my trust in your work and throws doubt whether the PCM REALLY was updated, to solve this recall issue! I left phone messages TWICE for Mr. Victor Burgos and one for the "general Service person" and NO ONE returned my calls! More
