It's somewhat common knowledge that now is not the best time in the work to buy a car. I've wanted a Wrangler for over 10 years now but could never really justify owning one for one reason or another, until the 4xe came out. In late January I reached out to a few dealers near me about ordering a 4xe and each one had a minimum of $5k market adjustment plus a 6-8 month wait time. In looking at various Autonation inventories on their website, I came across a vehicle that was almost exactly like what I wanted to order, so I reached out and the next morning had a text from Keith saying that it was sold, but we can order you one. Called him up, worked out the details, and 2 days later my order was locked. Cut to a month and a half later, I text him asking if I can change 1 thing and he surprises me with a "your car is already in production!" which was a shock, but in the best way. A few short weeks later, and the vehicle was shipped to the Autonation dealer by me and everything was ready to go. Between Kieth in Sales, and Gus in finance, this entire process could not have gone any better and the fact that the car was ordered in early February and arrived in early April is incredible given the market conditions we're currently in. Scheduled a service appointment over a month out. Got there on Thursday 7am, and was told they could might be able to look at it on Monday. Single dad, 2 kids, work, and activities.
