First off, the car I purchased is used and 10 years old. With any used car there is a possibility of having issues. Read to the end or you could get the wrong impression. Anyway, the first stop I made after leaving the dealership was about 5 miles away. After going into a store and returning to the car, it would not start. The starter would spin freely. Though it did finally start it only worked intermittently. The car had a 5 day return policy and a mileage limit & 90 day warranty whichever comes first. I took the car back for repairs. My salesman Jamzie helped me get a loaner car during the time my car was in the shop. One day after the repair, I had the same problem again. I took the car back to the AutoNation. At this time the car only had one day left on the return policy. I really wanted to keep the car but I wanted it fixed. The car had been in their shop for 3 of the 5 days that I owned it. I spoke with Jacob and we discussed my concerns with the 5 day return policy. He agreed to start the count once the car was back in my possession once repairs were complete. I've now had the car back for 5 days and haven't had any issues with the starter. The service team kept me informed on what was going on with the repairs. What they found and how they were addressing the repair. You defiantly need to ask questions. I don't think I would have gotten the extension on the return policy if I had not asked but I want to thank Jacob. I feel that Jacob did the right thing by allowing the extension. I also want to thank my Salesman Jamzie for helping me get this car and for the loaner while work was being completed. More
