Service Staff is shorthanded these days. It doesn’t mean you won’t get your car back when you get it serviced but it might mean no one will call you when it is done. I had a 60k service and It doesn’t mean you won’t get your car back when you get it serviced but it might mean no one will call you when it is done. I had a 60k service and 3 recalls done but back ordered parts for the recall meant they couldn’t complete the service. I just needed to know if I wasn’t going to have my car after day two. No call until I started upping my attitude. Service itself was fine. More
The Service associate was a pleasure to work with. She was kind and very outgoing. The reason for our visit was for service and as usual, our experience with the service department is always great. Our service advisor, Gary called when he said he was call and answered all of our questio our experience with the service department is always great. Our service advisor, Gary called when he said he was call and answered all of our questions thoroughly. Gary was very pleasant to work with. Our issue was actually with the Finance Manager, Bob. This all started back during the week between Christmas and New Year’s. We have a 2013 Ford Explorer that we purchased a Ford Extended Warranty that was about to expire on 12/30/2022 and we wanted to inquire about purchasing another warranty to extend coverage. So we went to the dealer and waited to speak to the Finance Manager for about an hour. At which point Bob came over to us and advise that he was very busy. We said that’s fine, we understood. We gave him our information and a letter that we had received stating that our warranty was about to runout and he said he would look into it and call us later. After calling in several more times to have him or anyone call us back to discuss an extended warranty with no success, we went to the showroom. We were finally directed to Bob and he took us to his office. He was immediately negative about the entire thing, saying to keep your money, it’s going to be expensive, that he was just trying to save us money. All of those things may have very well been true, but his demeanor and attitude were unhelpful and off-putting. All we wanted from the start of this unnecessarily long unresponsive process were some figures on another Ford Extended Warranty, because we like to keep our Explorer in top running order. This rating is a reflection on how we are typically treated when we go to our dealership; however, it is not a reflection on how our inquiry of possibly purchasing another extended warranty was handled. More
