I rated AutoNation Ford as "fair" only because our recent experience buying an Explorer was seamless. The service department, on the other hand, has been abysmal going back several appointments. It's a comed experience buying an Explorer was seamless. The service department, on the other hand, has been abysmal going back several appointments. It's a comedy of errors, mostly manifested in the fact that despite setting appointments they routinely failed to even look at my truck for over a week. It just sat there. During another visit, they wanted to take multiple days to replace two windshield wiper arms. Left me with a dead battery after that one. They fail to communicate status pretty much at all. The list goes on. We've owned a lot of Fords over the years and own two now, but if this is indicative of Ford's level of service we may sell them both and move on to another brand. More

They took my car in for what was found I be a blown transmission. I had to call to get the status after 5 days and when I picked it up, the notes said that the brakes need immediate attention. I can’t rate the experience a 5 star overall because only a few minutes after we picked up the vehicle it broke down on the side of the road with an issue we were told was unrelated to the repairs that were a few minutes after we picked up the vehicle it broke down on the side of the road with an issue we were told was unrelated to the repairs that were done. But they were quick to get it towed back to them and fixed the issue with no additional charge. It was obviously an inconvenience but they did their best to make it right. Matt was our service advisor and he was great! Very friendly, knowledgeable and responsive. More
