AutoNation Ford Mobile - Service Center

Brought in a letter from Ford about a possible reimbursement. I was certain that I was wasting my time. The Customer Service Representative assured me I was not wasting my time. My Ford F250 was drop off by a tow truck because I hit something in the road that tore off a transmission cooler line. I took over 1 week to look at the issue and then when they looked at it, they said I something in the road that tore off a transmission cooler line. I took over 1 week to look at the issue and then when they looked at it, they said I needed a new transmission and my warranty would cover it, however the warranty coverage inspector came there and did not approve it. So this is going on 3 weeks and the Service advisor tells me to contact my insurance company. I decided to get my truck towed from there and to a repair shot and they repaired the line to the transmission cooler and my truck has been driving fine every since with no transmission issues. After I paid for parts, transmission fluid and labor I spent less than $300.00. I am trying to understand how they figured I needed a new transmission. Not sure if I will be able to used their Service Department again and this is my second Ford F250. More
