(Thanksgiving was in there too) 3) Called and left message on Dec 1, no response. 4) Dec 7, same, called, no response. 5) Dec 8, called in and was told, the mechanic is working on the wiring. 6) Dec 12, called in, progress? I was told the mechanic is getting me a price today. 7) I was told that now the vehicle requires a new instrument cluster. I approved new $2500.00 quote, asked if part could be expedited and I would pay extra. 8) Dec 15, called to ask if the shipping was expedited. I don't remember if service advisor called me. 9) Dec 22, called in to ask if part had arrived. Was told when part gets here the mechanic will finish. 10) January 6, 2023, was called and told by service advisor, "I might call tomorrow to let you know the vehicle is done." (Jan 7, no call). 11) Monday, Jan 9, was called by another service rep and told the vehicle was done. Not counting holidays or weekends, my vehicle was at the dealership for 38-days. counting all days, 49-days. I reviewed my bill at home. Was charged $1795.00 labor and $995 for parts. I called to ask someone what the labor rate was, I was told $164.99. I said, oh, so $165? The person said back to me, "ONE-SIXTY-FOUR.NINETY NINE! I said, Ohh Kay..... Based on that I divided $1795.00 by $164.99 and came up with just over 10-hours. I understand there was some delay waiting for the instrument cluster, but come on, 38-work days? Even if I was to say two-days of labor, 16-hours and what, a week waiting for the part? Why so long? Since I have no frame of reference other than me guessing, either the scheduling of mechanics to work on vehicles is sorely lacking or you have like one mechanic jumping from car to car. Unbelievable. Maybe there truly aren't any auto mechanics to hire, I don't know. It just seems like a terrible way to do business. In conclusion, I will never come to this dealer again. I may never buy another Ford product again. This long of a wait is ridiculous..... More
