Unfortunately cannot leave a good review. We missed our original appt time by a couple hours, and instead of working us in (after we waited 7 weeks for the appt), they made us make a new app We missed our original appt time by a couple hours, and instead of working us in (after we waited 7 weeks for the appt), they made us make a new appt which was 7 more weeks, Oct 18. Between poor communication and outright forgetting about our car, we didn't get the car delivered fully repaired until Dec 6. When we picked it up, the grease from the techs was still showing on the fenders, etc. With all the time it took to get the car back to us, they deliver it filthy. Also, a new battery and transmission flush was over $450, which in my opinion is extremely high. This was a customer service failure from the beginning, and management should use it as a training tool on what not to do ever again, and if it does happen, action should be taken to make sure the customer is treated fairly. I made a appt for my first oil change & tire rotation with AutoNation Ford Panama City by phone for 3:30 in the afternoon on the same day. When I arrived, the service advisor helping me was surprised and stated we normally don’t take appt’s for oil changes that late in the day and said he would go a check with the lube tech to see how many customers were ahead of me. He came back and said there were 3 ahead me and would not be able to get to my vehicle before close of the business day but, I can bring it in at opening the next morning and they would get me in & out. Had it not been for that service advisor taking care of me I would have found another Ford dealer to service my truck when needed as I paid for the Ford extended maintenance. On another note, the website states they only take oil change and tire service by appt only but, nothing is mentioned about the latest time of the day they will take appt’s for oil changes. The person on the phone that I made the appt with should probably be aware of this. It would be nice to have a Ford Quick Lane here in Panama City as I have used them in past and had absolutely no problem pulling in & getting out without a appt in a timely manner. Thank you AutoNation Ford Panama City for getting my vehicle service taken care of but, need to work on some things to keep customers happy and coming back. More
I arrived for my appointment a few minutes early and service was started immediately. My advisor, John, gave me an estimated completion time and let me know as soon as the work was done. dealership was clean and employees friendly and professional. Vehicle was repaired on the date of the appointment. The only complaint is the time it takes to get and appointment. My vehicle was towed to the dealer 11/01 but could not get an appointment date until 11/25 which the vehicle was repaired and ready for pick up on time. With repair lead times extended out weeks does the dealer need more repair folks in the service department? More
My service adviser Laurie was awesome.
