Let me tell you my experience and you will understand why .When I finally got a raise at work , I decided it was time to get some heat and air conditioning . I have 3 stents, triple bypass, a defibrillator and a pacemaker, I didn’t want to go another summer driving 80 miles a day with no A/C . My credit sucked from the recession and that is how I ended up with these guys . They led me to their website and told me I could pick a vehicle off there from any local autonation and they would get it and bring it up to show it to me. We saw lots of trucks on line. But with a $2500 bad credit fee (don’t worry they add it to your loan) and 28% interest rate , most everything was cost prohibitive . The salesman I had went out of his way to find me something.. I agreed to look at 2004 Dodge Dakota with157,000 miles. I was told I had to agree to purchase the vehicle before I saw it and had 4 days or 150 miles to return it if I didn’t like it . We agreed on a payment and I was off to the finance Manager. This is where I met Mike , He offered me a Warranty and Gap Insurance , he offered me 6 more months on the loan for an extra $80.00 a month plus my payment . I asked him if it had unlimited mileage , he said it was good for 18 months and my truck qualified since it had less than 172,000 miles on it I thought it would be worth the extra money ($3000.00) in case the A/C went out , only reason I bought the truck and the warranty. I signed all the papers and expected to get copies back and had 4 days to cancel so I just minimally looked at them while signed the stack of them . But he never gave me a copies.. I drove the truck the 12 miles home and got CHECK ENGINE LIGHT , plug went bad , I called them and met my next friend Ryan Buis . Ryan is a phony as a $3.00 bill . Spouts the company line before he even thinks. He told me to fix it myself and he would pay me back . He agreed to fix, why you ask ? They had forgotten to take it through smog . I told him the back wheels had some sort of problem and the CD had grunge album shoved it and wouldn’t come out. So I got the truck back about 10 days later. Asked him about the wheels , said there was no problem , they sold the safest vehicles , ran like an old dodge truck he said . Well I drove the truck to work the next day at 5 am in the dark, with El nino rain poring down the truck would shake violently when I took my foot off the gas . When I looked at he rear wheel it was coming off and only had 2 studs remaining and both lug-nuts were almost off . Took 8 turns to get them back on . I called Mike again to see if I could get the warranty and get this fixed . Called all day left at least 3 voice mails Ryan fixed it after accusing me of having some one else work on it . They put new mags on it . Why you ask , because my rim was destroyed . I finally got the truck in good shape but the tags had run out, I was hit and run on and the nice policeman told me that my registration never had even been submitted. Seems the title was lost . I finally got my paperwork with my new tag . My warranty was for 18,000 miles , 18 months , just the engine and transmission. I had asked for my paperwork for months . Got it 42 days after I signed it . Fast forward to today 4 months later I 5000 miles left on a $3000.00 warranty that covers nothing. The A/C compressor went out , Ryan refuse to fix it , says he giving me a deal at $900.00. The other manager Tom Roberts is a bigger liar and creep than Ryan . I am to the hospital in the am for Heart Surgery and coming home in 114 degree heat with no A/C Thanks to Autonation Ford Scottsdale. More

Price scam-no call backs I visited the showroom 5/20 to originally to look for used Ford F-150. The salesmanship that approached me was a waste of time. He pretty much said th I visited the showroom 5/20 to originally to look for used Ford F-150. The salesmanship that approached me was a waste of time. He pretty much said they don't have what I was looking for and that because it's late (4:30 pm) that he can check with his car lot guy and call me tomorrow. He didn't give me his name or anything, didn't offer to show me around to other vehicles etc. so I walked out. Well I found a truck that you had that another dealership I went to mentioned. So I called back on Saturday to see if you had it in stock and if it was the same one. I talked to sales manager Tom Roberts and I agreed to go down that following day which was Sunday 5/22. He introduced me to Dave Knapp and Dave went to retrieve the truck for me to look at. I received a pricing sheet from Tom that he signed that Sunday and I told them I was waiting on my insurance guy to get back with me on quotes which would be Monday and then I would make a decision and that I would need an offer on my trade it which Dave said they were willing to work with me on. Since that day I have emailed and text both gentleman and I have only received in response asking for my vin number for my truck again and my miles, which they already looked at it on Sunday when I was there. I told them that I was very interested in the truck and I was just waiting on their offer and a correction to their pricing sheet and I could come down this Friday to purchase the truck. Well it turns out that no one wants to return my emails or texts. Very disappointing as it appears they wrote a check they now can't cash with the price they gave me. Very deceiving practice and horrible customer service. You have lost a purchase of a new 2016 Ford F-150 super crew. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! More

Basically a WHOLE NEW DEALERSHIP Ok, I think everyone is aware that this place was rough for a long time. I was really disappointed in the sorry reviews, but they were undeniable. Now Ok, I think everyone is aware that this place was rough for a long time. I was really disappointed in the sorry reviews, but they were undeniable. Now, vehicles are what they are and sometimes they break, it's really the people and how they interact with customers and address concerns that matters most. That said, in the last few months Autonation has COMPLETELY CLEANED HOUSE here, especially in the sales department. Not only did they level the actual building and build a beautiful brand new one, but they did the same with the management and staff as well. I've seen a drastic difference in the way the new team approaches customer service and post sale support. I say that as a customer and an outside vendor that regularly interacts with the old and new team. Since about January, the new mangers have made it their mission to bring on new staff and train up existing team members in a way that will make Ford Scottsdale the best in class moving forward. It's going to take time, but the new people genuinely care about their customers needs whether they purchase something or not, and even after they leave. Management makes it their business to write wrongs and ensure that issues are resolved in a fair and timely manner. It's pretty darn refreshing. I'm very much looking forward to seeing these guys build better relationships one customer at a time. Just go in and ask for the GM Darren, or the Sales Manager Tom. Both wonderful guys that will take a minute to shake your hand and make sure you get what you need! It's safe to come back ya'll! More
Super easy and good experience I had a great experience. My sales person was a typical salesperson but I didn’t feel pressured to buy or talked into it. I went there knowing what I I had a great experience. My sales person was a typical salesperson but I didn’t feel pressured to buy or talked into it. I went there knowing what I wanted and getting it. The dealership was busy but I didn’t feel neglected. The car was brand new, financing was easy, it was the Ford 0% down loan. The trade in we went back and forth on a little and it worked out I believe fairly. They had to get my car from a another dealership and I appreciated that. They pulled in the customer service rep to help at the end since they were busy. I felt a little sorry for her as it seems they dump all the ticked off customers on her. She was super pleasant and very knowledgable. Seemed like she knew everything about everything at that place. Overall a total normal car buying experience. More

EMAIL FROM FORD CUSTOMER CARE:Thank you for reaching out to Ford Motor Company in regards to your 2014 Ford Focus. I’m sorry to read about the paint issues you’re currently experiencing. Have your used car checked out! Bought a 2004 VW Passat from Juan. The sales experience was good! Juan was very helpful, he even drove us to other AutoNation lots to look at cars we Bought a 2004 VW Passat from Juan. The sales experience was good! Juan was very helpful, he even drove us to other AutoNation lots to look at cars we had seen online. The process was low pressure and almost painless, except it was busy and it took awhile and it was during a remodel so sitting a hot tent was not fun. However, apparently I made the mistake of not taking it to another mechanic to check it out before I purchased. I made the terrible assumption that the car was mechanically sound because I was buying it from a dealership and they said they service all cars prior to sales. I just spent $4k in repairs on a car I bought 4 months ago. I bought the expensive warranty though the dealership, non of the needed repairs were covered. When the car had an issue that required it to be towed to get repaired I went to AutoNation to have their service department repair it. I had been receiving emails saying "come have your car serviced here!" and I was told, by Juan, to have my car serviced there as well. When I talked to the service adviser he told me to take it elsewhere because his tech's wouldn't know how to fix it properly.... When we walked into the "service trailer" it was about 1 hour until they closed and the service adviser seemed agitated that he had to deal with another customer, I'm not sure if that had anything to do with his decision to take the car elsewhere. I was not in a bad mood, i was not demanding, I simply wanted to have my car dropped off there and they could look at it the next day when they had an opening. I was in by no means in a hurry, flustered or upset. Had the car taken to the VW dealership, they said what needed to be fixed and they also gave me a service records on the car. The VW service adviser informed me that the previous owner was aware of these issues and declined repair. So the car needed to be fixed, the previous owner traded it in (which I totally get) and AutoNation said they inspected and serviced the car. I was not informed about the needed repairs. They sold me a car at full used market value plus a $3k warrenty that needed $3k in repairs. The repairs needed were not some crazy hidden issues that only happened to VW's. Very shady company and very poor customer service in their service department. More

My contact was Steve Kole. Was greeted well and first impression was good. Let me try the used ford edge 2013 sel By myself. Nice ride. Priced at 25k. Then the fun (scam) began. Set me up with his supervisor Dave . Which he immediately low balled my trade in . Offered 500 $ on my car with only 75k miles and wouldn't budge. The whole time the car price had been lowered to 24k per internet and I wasnt offered that price. Saw that after the visit. Greedy folks. 3 days later Steve called and still worked off the 25k price. Talked with Steve again a few days later about the edge . Still trying to sell me the car. Opps the car had been sold and he didn't even know . I questioned him on it and the ethics of auto nation .Then he hung up the phone .Bottom line there is failure of customer appreciation here. I have bought 2 vehicles from this dealership before it became Autonation. Really disappointed. More

A sales person was walking by and asked if I needed help.. I explained I was leaving for the lack of attention they give their customers and also that Jeremy knew I was on my way and I also asked for Jeremy and he never came out... Not only did Jeremy not call me to follow up with me about the car I drove all the way over there for, he never called to apologize for not meeting with me...
