Don't PURCHASE or SERVICE a car here DO NOT TRUST THESE TECHNICIANS: Purchased used car from here. During the negotiation process I presented the salesman (Nick) with a list of maintenan DO NOT TRUST THESE TECHNICIANS: Purchased used car from here. During the negotiation process I presented the salesman (Nick) with a list of maintenance my personal mechanic found it needed during his pre-purchase inspection, including Alignment, Rotation, Cooling Service, Transmission Service, and Clips missing from front plastic bumper. Nick took the list to the Ford technicians and returned to tell me that most of the items on the list, except the missing clips, were not valid requests. He showed me the Ford Maintenance Schedule for the car, and stated that the cooling and transmission services weren't due for over 30,000 miles, and that the tires had already been rotated. I thought perhaps my mechanic had "suggested" some of the maintenance to help me in the price negotiation process. Instead of clarifying this with my mechanic first, who I have been taking my car to for 7 years, and who never does unnecessary work just to "bring home the gravy," as Nick accused him of, I let exhaustion win and just purchased the car for the asking price with the stipulation that at least the Alignment and Clips be taken care of (I could feel the car pull to the right myself). I figured that since nothing major was WRONG with the car, it was worth it. Upon pick-up two days later, I was told that the technicians said the car was perfectly aligned, so they didn't even do that. Additionally, I would receive a call when the clips arrived because they hadn't yet. I never got that call. And, more importantly, I took the car back to my mechanic in preparation for a road trip, just to find out that not only were the maintenance items not "suggestions" but URGENT. A cooling and transmission services had NEVER been performed on the vehicle in the past, EVER, even though it had 85,000 miles on it! Again, he also had to do the alignment and rotation because those WERE necessary. DO NOT TRUST THESE TECHNICIANS because they obviously didn't actually look at the fluids and simply printed out the Ford maintenance schedule just to say it wasn't due yet. And if they said their machine showed the car was perfectly aligned, then their machine must be off. I should have listened to my mechanic and negotiated the price down, but being there two days in a row with my 3-year-old in tow got the better of me, and, as I said, I let exhaustion win! More
It was a miserable, hot Arizona day, and my daughter's a/c was out in the car she just purchased from a private party (funny how that happens, huh?). It took 3 visits and 180 miles from Gilbert to get the deal done. Total of about 14 hours between drive time and dealership[. The worst part when they finally got the vehicle that we wanted was the Financ deal done. Total of about 14 hours between drive time and dealership[. The worst part when they finally got the vehicle that we wanted was the Finance office. The finance manager Bastion F was very arrogant, aggressive and dishonest. He charged me for window tint, and theft protection neither of which was on the vehicle. Then in trying to convince me to purchase all extended warranties by extending my payments an extra 12 months just to keep payments low. He also showed us an interest rate on a 60 month of 2.49% and when I got home and noticed there was no window tint or theft protection on the vehicle the finance papers showed 2.75% for the interest rate. I also asked about Ford Motor Co. financing which as advertised would be 0.0% with $500 dollar cash and keep all incentives for 60 months just like the add they ran on t.v. for Labor day specials and I was told by AutoNation's Bastion F. the terms were 36 months and you loose all rebates so either they lied or Ford Motor Co. did a false advertisement. I would think Ford Motor would be correct. Evidently the antics of Bastian F. are acceptable to the management of AutoNation because I have seen other complaints with similar issues and he continues to treat people that way. I would not recommend this dealership to any friends, family, or co-workers. More
My family of four was completely ignored on our first visit to this dealer. We were on the lot for twenty minutes and even walked around the show room floor. We didn't even get a hello. We left and I am not going to buy an New SUV from this dealer. On our next visit we needed to compare the Fusion and Taurus for my husbands job. I watched as a salesman looked at us and turned away to avoid us and talk to two other salesmen who weren't busy. We only received assistance when I stuck my head in the door and asked if some could unlock the Taurus. We spoke with the General Manager to make sure he knew what was going on and the situation got worse. He was rude and unapologetic. More
I submitted some info on a website trying to get a quote on a Ford Fusion. I was called right away from a gentleman named Rich in the Internet Sales department. Soon after our conversation he emailed me a price. It was the most informative and straight forward quote I have ever received from a dealer online. It had my total amount due and everything. I was a little reluctant because it was such a good price. I called Rich and he assured me that he and AutoNation are the most straight forward and honest dealership. He told me that absolutely nothing would change when I arrived. He said to just print what he sent me, and bring it on down. To make a long story short when I arrived Rich was was not only fast and professional, but I have to say he was rather entertaining too! The price was exactly as I was given in his email, and I left happy as can be in my new Fusion! What a car by the way. The whole process was like ordering a pizza. Rich introduced me to Josh Sweeting who made us feel like we became part of a family before and after our final paperwork. I strongly reccomend this dealer. More
