My initial experience with the dealership was great from the sales end. The salesperson (Heather) was great for being new to the product and dealership. He was without a doubt the most condescending and insulting person I have EVER dealt with in car sales on either end, and I have bought quite a few cars in my lifetime. I understand the whole concept behind extended warranties and maintenance packages and even after I patiently listened to his spiel (after 2 1/2 hours of unnecessary waiting) and declined the extended warranty and maintenance package, he looked at me in disbelief as if I were a moron. His continued pressured tactics and gesturing as if I did not know what I were doing by saying "no" to the extra packages, was the most unprofessional conduct I have EVER experienced at a car dealership. He even had the nerve to say "I guess you don't like to spend money." Whatever kept me from walking out right there and then, I don't know. I have proceeded to tell several of my friends (other professionals like myself that do like to "spend money") about my negative experience with the finance guy at the dealership and I am sure that it will influence their decision to NOT go to this particular dealership, should they choose to buy a Ford in the future. I certainly know that THIS dealership WILL NOT get my service business based on this experience. More
We're very excited about our new Ford (not bought at a Ford dealership). However, we've been very disappointed with the service at Power Ford in Scottsdale. I purchased a new Focus in Nov 2011. I purchased the service contract because the finance guy assured me that ALL belts and hoses where covered. After reviewing the service contract at home, I realized this was not the case and went back the next day for a refund of the contract. I have a receipt for the refund cancellation dated Dec 2011. It has been 10 months and I still have not received the refund. I have been paying interest on this money the entire time. I have made repeated phone calls, emails and personal visits to the dealership. Many of my phone calls and emails have been ignored. When I do get a response, I am told either that the refund is being processed, a check was just sent to the bank or the check was lost. I was very disappointed with the poor customer service and unprofessional attitude of the finance department. More
Good value on a used truck. However, I CAN NOT recommend purchasing here for the following reason: You need to be paying "extremely close attention" when you go in to one of the finance manager's office. He will hustle you into an over-priced ESP warranty and you won't even see it coming. He is a smooth talker and intentionally takes your mind off of this inflated warranty price, then he includes it into the loan contract, promising you a "rebate check," which of course, never comes. Stay away! There are some good Ford dealers out there. Sanderson Ford sold me the same identical warranty for half the price that Mr Falsafi tried to charge. I can't recommend Power Ford until they get rid of this "hustle attitude." More
We came to Power Ford as it was the most convenient dealership to our residence. We met Mike Fattaleh on our first visit and by the time we left we were convinced the Ford Edge was the right car for u dealership to our residence. We met Mike Fattaleh on our first visit and by the time we left we were convinced the Ford Edge was the right car for us. He was 100% knowledgeable on all the featues of the car. Secondly, we were able to use the Ford Friends and Family x-plan. He handled that aspect very smoothly. We went back for a few details and proceeded through the puchasing process more easily and comfortably than any other car we have purchased. We would strongly recommend Mike to anyone who asked us. When I went to the web site to see availability of the vehicle I was looking for I saw that your Scottsdale dealership had what I wanted, so I went to see it in person. The sales staff were very friendly, knowledgeable, and understood my needs. They also showed me other vehicles around my price range. Walked me through the ones that I thought I might want to buy. Because Ward listened to what I had said he found one with exactly what I was looking for, except it wasn't used it was new, yet in my price range, it is perfect. We went into the dealership where he offered me a cold bottle of water, in this heat we need all the hydration we can get, he then went over the pricing and loan information with me. Ward again listened to my needs and found a loan that would work for me. Needless to say, I bought the vehicle. It is the first new truck I've ever owned,I've always bought used vehicles before as the price of new were always out of my price range. I was amazed that you can get a new truck that is affordable.
