Communication was terrible from the start. I brought in my 2020 Explorer with 15,000 miles due to a bad transmission. The Service Director wanted me to continue driving it until a warning ligh I brought in my 2020 Explorer with 15,000 miles due to a bad transmission. Overall, they did resolve the problem and replaced the transmission, but the customer service/communication side of the experience could be improved. More
I took my 2012 explorer for a check up due to a clunking sound. They did a complete inspection including various test drives. The car never made the sound for them. My truck was dropped off on Friday and I was told I would get a phone call that day to give me an update. I did not expect to have it back but just an update. I called the advisor Monday evening and left a message. NO CALL BACK” I called early Tuesday direct number to advisor. Left another message with NO call back. No phone call/text/ email NOTHING letting me know about my truck or it’s condition. Not one phone call! I had left several messages for my advisor and not one return call was made to me. I show up to see where my truck is only to be lied to and told hey I called you! I can’t stand liars and this place promotes it! Plenty other places to go for proper service. Let me preface that “ the customer is NOT always right. I am not entitled but I do expect to be treated fair. AutoNation Ford Scottsdale FAILED! More
Had my car at the dealership all day for 11 hours but they could not update my Sync software and Navigation and they don’t know why. They told me I have to bring back my car again. The sales department in the sales people I dealt with were great! I've owned this truck for a year now and it has been in the shop numerous times where I feel the customer service and that department def were great! I've had to return my truck numerous times for the air conditioner which still doesn't work correctly but I'm moving on to a new truck through a different dealership. More
Charged 175 to diagnose and diagnosis was a guess at best. Made appointment two weeks in advance. Car sat for 3 days and then diagnosis was not even presented on invoice - Coordinator told me it was a best. Made appointment two weeks in advance. Car sat for 3 days and then diagnosis was not even presented on invoice - Coordinator told me it was a plate in transmission and would cost 175 an hour for 16 hours. Had transmission shop and Sun Devil auto look at it and they were perplexed about diagnosis and why I was charged when no diagnosis was presented. They said sound we heard was from battery being recharged with engine running and transmission was fine. Coordinator was terrible and never called when he said he would.
